It be great if he could play for parra in a couple weeks at least we would get a minimum 3 try's down his side guaranteed
Sometimes you have to cut your losses and stop throwing good money after bad.
He's done nothing to justify that price tag.
I absolutely agree with this!! if a player doesn't want to be here or gets a better offer to play somewhere else I don't begrudge them at all. But my comment about loyalty was more about a respect thing. To ask for an immediate release because you get a revised contract that doesn't suit reeks to me of a spoilt brat but being the cynic that I am I put it down to this day an age of 'millenials' that lack respect and expect the red carpet at every opportunity
Actually I think Moses spat his dummy when WT actually withdrew his contract offer. Makes his actions more understandable but I agree that he has shown little respect for the opportunities given to him by our club over TMM and Austen. In hindsight, it's easy to see our management made the wrong calls there.
Sometimes you back the wrong horse, that happens in RL.
The club are cutting their losses early and pushing the problem elsewhere. It's a shame really because Moses is a talented player on his day. At the start of the season, I'd have been happy to keep him over Brooks since it looked as though he kicked away last year. He hasn't gone on with it though and I don't think he can really be demanding his $700/800K pa that he wants.
We can keep the cheaper half, partner him with an older head (Cronk,) or another talented **proven** youngster (Bird,) and give him them a pack who might actually dominate a game in parts, and his game might finally go to the next level.
Moses has shown more at NRL level than Brooks, but not for what he's asking. Cleary is already pulling the reins, and I wouldn't be surprised his consultation was sought during the goings-on last week. JT's comments add credence that Moses also had blood on his hands in regard to Farah being moved on.
