Mitch Moses Denied Release - Confirmed

I think Moses should be released. If it's true he is trying to poach other players and if Elias is telling the truth about him wanting to know what the other 3 are doing before he made up his mind then he needs to be gone. Gould makes a good point though, who can replace him for the rest of the season?

Not that it would be intentional, but its probably a good thing that the club is ridding themselves of players with yesterdays heroes as relos like Siro and Elias. Hopefully the treatment the players have gotten will turn the ex players away from the club and they won't feel the need to critique us at every turn while still claiming to love the club.

Has Robbie any youngsters coming up we have to be wary of or nephews?

“I’ve spoken with him (Arthur) and we’ve had a few talks,’’ Nofoaluma said.

“There are a lot of positive things that you hear from him and Mitch has told me the same thing.

So Mitch is trying to talk his mates over to Parra as well. Sigh!

White ant Moses already talking players to go to the club that rejected him.

Or just a quick and effective way for Nofo to bump up his asking price and put the pressure on WT?

His quoted saying Moses talking to him about parra which is wrong

You said that Moses is talking players into going to Parra. That is not what Nofo said, if they are mates of course they are going to chat to each other so Moses might have said to him "Brad Arthur seems to be really down to earth and I am looking forward to playing under him". That's not telling other WT players to jump ship as far as I'm aware.
Bottom line is if WT can't get any compensation from Parra either through a player swap or money for letting Moses go early, then no way in the world would I be releasing him mid season. Keep him here and make him play ISP Cup if need be. Would be crazy to let him go for Parra's benefit if there is no benefit to WT.

Just young Mo, his ball skills are shoddy but he is an 80 minute player, can run all day apparently.

As I understand it, the Tigers have their 2017 cap money maxed out, meaning no fresh blood coming into first grade. If Parra were to buy Moses mid season, that might give the Tigers some depth options, which would be great later in the season. No more going into games with no props on the bench.

I don't want to lose our 5/8th, but if it means we can get a couple of ok forwards from the ESL or something, it mightn't be all bad. As it is we seriously lack depth.

The system aint broke as annyoing it can feel at times.

From who's perspective? Certainly from mine as a fan it is. If I was a CEO of a football club I'd be pretty miffed as well.

Might be a little harsh on Mitch Moses but I sure won't miss uncle Benny.

If it is, he's 100% correct!

Great article. Actually glad the club is ridding themselves of personalities like Elias. The further we can distance ourselves from that family the better.. They're in everything.

Wow best article I have rad for a while.
Wish it was picked up in traditional media

That won't happen as there are too many inaccuracies presented as fact - they would face a lawsuit.

So why isn't the author here facing a lawsuit?
He's put his name to it

Really? what are the inaccuracies and are you also suggesting that traditional media never publishes anything with potential inaccuracies?

Ben Elias is a germ should not be allowed anywhere near our Club , has overshadowed the good player he was by putting his self interest 1st and muddied his nephew along with his Manager .
So glad Mitch is gone….Salute!!!!

Since Mitch has asked for the release and lets say his on $600k this year if there was $400k still to pay him this year does that $400k become available in our Cap for this year ?

I'm sure there is no way we would release him and pay a percentage of his wages this year to play for Parra .

Wasn't Benny also on Tony Sage's payroll in trying to get a team in Perth. Wonder if he was looking to relocate a team there and if so, which team it would be.
