Even though Brooks is rubbish, I'd love to see news that Moses has re-signed with Eels.

He's good, but he's not special and I don't want his loaded contract and ego with us.

I think what he's doing also shows great disrespect to the Eels, who have made him what he is after not looking like a 1st grader with us, despite some flashes. The fact he took a similar approach to us shows us his character and that he hasn't really matured or put away the ego.

Why do we have to stick to our offer ? They are trying to push us and Parra up but we can go down. If they come back to the table screw them over just like they are screwing us and Parra over.

I remember at management training being told how when they ask for a revision of your costing you do nothing but go back with an increased 10% cost. We just do something similar. In all probability Moses IS hoping Parra will up the ante to a 5 year deal like the one WT has apparently offered. 5 years at really big money for any 29 year old half is a big gamble. Parra have had plenty of opportunity to give him the extra term he's after but pretty clearly would rather not. Be interesting if both Moses and his present club refuse to budge.

Missed the birth of his baby to play a grand final. That is a telling sign of one's character.

Context is everything. Also wasn’t the grand final.

His grandmother died before the prelim, was laid to rest the monday of the cowboys match.
Family all agreed that he flies up and plays.
Parra team including Mitch flew up to Townsville on Thursday and his Wife started having contraction’s Thursday night and gave birth Friday morning (wasn’t planned for that day).

Don’t know how he was meant to rush back in time for the birth covering that distance.
