Moltzen Staying Or Going

Manager Tauber was on the radio this morning and confirmed what has panned out - which is also what a lot of posters here are refusing to believe.

Tim Moltzen and his manager agreed to terms and signed a contract with the Dragons - did the manager do it without Moltzens consent? No of course not - Tim, himsef, had decided to move on to the Dragons.

Tauber goes on holidays for a few weeks - in that time two things happen - Lui gets arrested on assault charges and Tim Moltzen 'changes his mind' and decides he wants to stay at the Dragons. Tauber is asked why Tim changed his mind, response is the jibberish about friends and family. Follow up question is 'does it have anything to do with Lui?' - response 'ummm, ahhhh, I can't comment on that, I don't know - I was away when Robert was arrested - I have no insight into what the Tigers have decided to do with Lui'.

No mention of why the Tigers hadn't signed a release. Who knows, just a formality that hadn't been completed. Probably a bit of sneaky play on the Tigers part.

But the bottom line is, that the manager, himself, confirmed that Tim had signed with the Dragons, was going to the Dragons AND THEN changed his mind. This, in my honest opinion, is not on - if people were allowed to do this then the league would be a shambles.

**What was occured over the past few weeks has been tipified in todays Telegraph in which it is stated that it would be 'intolerable' for Tim to go to the Dragons next year. Now I am sorry, but that is blackmail - they are basically trying to give the Dragons no choice but to back down. And it really peeves me off that our club is associated with such antics.**

Anyway - he will probably stay at the Tigers I'd say. I will support him and hope he plays as good as he did at the back end of this year. But I tell you what, the way he has carried on - I have very little respect for the guy.

Imagine Blair pulled out of his contract and stayed with the Storm…...

and you beleive the Tele.. that is a total BS story.. Tims words were a few days ago…..

IF he has to go to the Saints, so be it.. but his pref is Tigers.

Here you go again telling people what and what not to believe.
Why only the other day you claimed a direct quote in the media attributed to Humphreys never occurred, was never said.
You pick and choose what suits you, what you like….its not about you.
Cenatur was relaying what was said on radio...not the Daily Tele...

I fully agree, if a decision was announced it would be all over the place given the hype the story already has

Yes, you have nothing

Tauber is unbelieavble….the guy is an utter fool, he needs to shut up because his backflips, along with those of Humpty, arent reflecting on him as they should, its reflecting VERY VERY POORLY on the Wests Tigers

Only to people who have nothing better to do then whinge. You been crying over this from day one ink. Your gripe is with the club way before this even eventuates.
Club is fighting for what a player who wants to stay and who they want to keep yet your self and the rest of the sheep are crying like it's the worst the club has ever done. Something's in business are not nice to do but needs to be done. Tough decisions need to be made. That's why it's called

"business"

I wonder if Tauber is trying to get the Tigers to increase there offer to match what he was getting from the Saints By saying what he is saying he can't lose either way he will say the Tim changed his mind if he joins with the Tigers and if he signs with Saints he will say that was the original contract

Its called an opinion, and my opinion doesnt include claiming quotes were not quoted, and articles are BS.
Try sticking to the facts

There are 16 "businesses" in the NRL and one governor. Whether you like it or not, Tigers have to do business WITH and AGAINST the other 15 businesses. In the media, it's making the Tigers look bad. I dont give two shits about what other people think on here, but I like Tigers because it's a very likeable team and I don't want us to to be seen alongside teams like Manly (or even lower). This is the one of the main reasons for my liking of Tigers: there management of players off field, along with the brilliance on field. No player is bigger than the team and the Tigers shouldn't bother loosing their rep for one player.
