MOLTZEN? Thread

Don't worry, next time he drops the ball there will be a dozen posts calling for him to be burned at the stake…

I'd love to see someone like Terry Lamb spend a couple of weeks with him and teach him the art of backing-up.He still plays like a half/five -eigth, out of position. With a bit more confidence he has the potential to become a prolific try scorer lurking behind the forwards. Given the frailty of the physiques of both Moltz and Tedesco, I think they both have a place at the tigers over a 26 week season.

I thought he played very well today & in the 2nd half last week, he still makes me nervous under the high ball though :L

He only played well in 2nd half

First half highlights

Not showing any urgency in tackling - 1st try to Cowboys, was a spectator and only tackled after the try. Why couldnt he move in like Bowen on Heigno?

Pass to touch judge? Suould have been try.

Second half did much better

If you focus hard enough on any player you're bound to see some negatives, especially if you're looking for errors…

Scored 2 tries, didn't drop a bomb, tackling was fine, ran the ball back well. For me it was a perfectly acceptable performance.

Maybe Tim Sheens knows. I wish he would let us know what his big plans are. Maybe a surprise for next year. Maybe he could have a segment on the footy show "SHEENS KNOWS MOLTZ"

that horrible pass shows why he prefers to dummy than pass.
the reason why he will never be a half is because he can't run at a line and put a ball where the hole is.
don't ever call him a ball playing fullback.

as for fullback,he has looked better the last few weeks and shown he has learned from some past mistakes.
wish he would communicate more with his wingers when fielding kicks though.

Go back and watch the final against the dragons last year where he throws a 20m pass at full sprint on his wrong side to put ayshford over then tell me he cant pass.

If you watch the pass ,even though it wasn't the best, might still have been ok if Tuquiri had have kept up with the game and not been 2 metres behind where he shoud have been.
