I think the best word to answer your question is "myth". A myth can grow to great proportions and become invincible…...no matter how vulnerable the myth should actually be. Tim Sheens is a myth.

Well that logic doesnt work because you say Sheens isnt a myth because your only as good as your last…..then you say Marshall isnt a class player......he was golden boot last year.

Every club has different circumstances that we dont know about….elliots job was on the line after his first year...Its no suprise he got punted.
I don't think you should base it solely on where a team finished. If so, the tigers are one of the worst performing teams since 2006 with only one single finals appearance in 5 years. I place a lot of weight on whether a team comes to play each week and consistency. The tigers are amongst the worst in both counts, year in, year out.
I'll always support the tigers even if they lose every week, but they are a damn frustrating team to watch and make us fans prove our commitment every bloody week.

IMO where you finish on the ladder at the end of the competition rounds defines whether or not you have had a sucessful season.

We have played tough, consistent football for about 15 weeks out of 8 years under Sheens. You tell me what other coach in the NRL could get away with that and still have a job?
