If he had a pathetic attitude that didn't warrant his pay packet, maybe they're better off cutting their losses.
Disappointing, I had high hopes for him. At least Marsters slips in and doesn't get left out of the 17\. I couldn't find a place for him our first 17 beforehand.

Same here, plus if Esan fits the bill, he will get an extension and the cash opened up by the departure.

Gains 15kg whilst in recovery.
Sleeps in for 3 hours in a mates car in the car park while his teammates are training instead of ripping In with them.
And says….”I want to reach my full potentential”.
Do it elsewhere son.
Good on you Pascoe and Co. We got rid off the big heads last year and setting a standard means if you don’t meet it then go.
I would have loved to see him in black and gold for years but not with an attitude like this.
The precedent has been set and its damn good one.

Most 19 yo's have a pathetic attitude
This is what a pro sports club has to deal with these days…egos and crap attitudes as well as football talent and development.
It disillusions me about the game further, along with many other things...self entitled Aholes blessed with a gift peeing it away like the spoilt turds they are
Hopefully its a blessing for us in the long run

Yeah , but we seem to get more than our fair share of the 19 yo's you speak of
Yet Melbourne and others seem to get very few of these problem kids
Maybe its more because youngsters want to be at certain clubs , whereas others can see another light at the end of another tunnel
Kids will put up with the crap they don't like , as long as they are winning

Last year this kid was going to be our future. I really hope it ends up being a good move but at this point I am not so convinced. We need to be able to manage and retain our talent not distribute it.
An able replacement will make good sense -otherwise dont share the good riddance mentality its becoming a bit old.

It looks like it was a very borderline call and one not made in haste. It appears that the club approached everyone in his private circle to try to motivate him without a positive result. It also appears that his performance was impacting the rest of the team. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses.

Yep a difficult decision no doubt. But clearly the "boy" still wants to play footy and another club more than eager to take him on knowing his attitude. Something went a miss somewhere too easy to just put all the onus on a kid - imo.
