Moses Suli

There was a story about MWZ earlier this week with him saying that when he was younger he didnt really apply himself and put the work in, thats why he debuted at 26 or so. It happens, Suli isn't the first, and won't be the last.

What we at WT should do, is sign the kid up on a special contract, not for 2018 NRL first grade, but on some sort of ISP contract. Make it for over a few years. Don't pay him unless he trains, but keep the contract open, so hopefully keep him locked up for until his attitude changes and he grows up, and comes good in a year or so. Maybe not worth the hassle, some people never get beyond the entitled stage and learn hard work, idk, if you find the recipe for that let me know so I can help my boys growing up.

That removes some of the negativity about his removal from the club. Wonder what the “journalists” at the daily tel think now? Still such ineptness in being unable to nercher this talent, or suddenly we made the right move after all.

I thought he tried his hand at rugby but it didn't work out.

He seriously needs someone close to him to give him help and guidance or i really fear for his mental state.

His father passed away a few years ago.

Didn't even get to lace a boot on in anger for the Dogs…I wonder if the kid hasn't got some type of mental health problem bubbling away in the background that he is unaware of. To go off the rails like this, and to throw away such a lucrative contract at a young age...I don't know. The Tigers definitely made the right call, but I reckon the kid needs help. The way he's going, he'll probably end up being arrested.

Agreed. He could be heading towards real trouble.

Just sacked by the Dogs. Unfortunate how low he has reached really, massive spiral. He had the potential to be great, now he's ruined his career. Real damn shame

In other news, Mitchell "The King" Moses has declared himself "ready" for State of Origin! Yipeee! Our lord and saviour has arrived

Maggot

Our lord and saviour, are you a Queenslander looking to extend the dynasty following the mass retirements?

A Queenslander? God no… Why would I subject myself to such torment?
In all seriousness, if Mitch seriously thinks he's even close to selection for State of Origin he's full of it.
Although that's already been confirmed.

Maybe I read more into it than what was said. The impression I got was that he was reminiscing thinking he could have achieved what his younger brother was now achieving (playing first grade in rugby league) had he tried harder. So this time around he was applying himself more. Maybe I was misled by the title saying something about regret.

Either way, Suli is a different kettle of fish, but for his sake hopefully he turns it around while he still can.

I just don't understand these kids.
If I was playing sport for a living (never mind the massive salary) I'd be giving my heart, my soul and everything I have to repay the faith shown in me.
Guys like Suli just don't understand how lucky they are.
And what's he going to go back to now? A bloke who stood to earn over a million dollars is most likely going to be earning minimum wage at best.

Did you have your head screwed on at 19 ?
I know I didn't and still don't

Wouldn't it now be appropriate to give Rothfield a massive serve. I'll bet he hasn't bagged the Bulldogs. Unfortunately I don't use Twitter but if anyone on the Forum wants to give it a go, feel free.

For a million dollars over 3 years I would have!
