Tbf it was merged with a thread that was clearly a troll thread to create an argument. There's nothing wrong with the argument at all, its the little cheap shots people that throw in is what the problem is.

Considering a lot of our players would be coming out of Ctown, its another red mark through that argument that players won't want to live out there. If they've grown up all their lives in the area, they're hardly going to be longing to move to the inner city.

I doubt the majority of our players will ever be from campbelltown. How many have we got now?

Lawrence, Sue, Noffa, Tedesco. Dwyer was a Ctown boy, as was Gibbs.

So only four out of the top squad.

Yeah couple of others play for different clubs or codes Hayne, Falou and quite a few more.

Forgot to mention names like Eastwood,Pritchard ( both brothers) T Rex . Kasiano, who live 15 minutes away from Campbelltown.

Summary:
Cambelltown got more crowds in the following years : 2000 , 2005 and 2011 ,
interesting year 2000 Leichardt got 1 more game , and Campbelltown still swallowed Leichardt up . I take it in the 1st year Wests Magpies were glad Balmain came to there rescue and Balmain side were not happy with it hence the big difference in Crowds compared to other years , doesn't make sense.

2005 : Campbelltown get more than Leichardt , coincidence the year the Tigers won the Comp , it tells me Campbelltown only go out and support there team when there winning .

As long as Campbelltown council charge us a fortune each time we play as CS, and ANZ pays us a fortune to play at Homebush, then there isn't even a decision to make regarding a long term home ground.

With regards to a training base, Homebush has ready made state of the art training facilities, while CS would need an upgrade… Who pays for that?

Interesting that in 2002 and 2004 , Campbelltown get extra game and Leichardt still draws more Crowd with 1 less game.
