Geo said that we had $700K left, unless Panthers subsidise Moylan, he will take all our remaining cap money.

We should start employing Roosters tactics - TPAs and Backending (considering we have a number of contracts terminating in 2019). I wonder if the Roosters are using untrackable Bitcoins yet?

The last thing we should ever do is backend contracts it was Noyce who started that mess and it has taken us this long to get out of it because all our other ceo's except pascoe thought it was a good idea.

If Moylan was to come, I'm sure some of his salary will be TPA's. We have 28 signed, so if 1 is on minimum wage ( I think it's around $100k), we will have $600k + TPA's.

Rumours that Blake Green to be released by Manly to the warriors and Moylan to Manly. I can't imagine Green being on much money and aren't they in salary cap issues.

Scott Penn said Green will play for Manly in 2018 .
And they finally find a 5/8 who complements DCE , why would they let him go ?

Because Warriors have a good development system where they turn 'good' players into 'great' players.
An offer from the mighty, pemiership heavyweight, Warriors must be tempting for all the games biggest stars…

He also said if the warriors were to offer him a lucrative 4 year contract he would no stand in his way.

If it's a race between the Sharks, Manly and us, I reckon we would be probably third in the race.

Maybe his relationship with Cleary will put us in the box seat - at least he knows what the coach is actually like and they are on good terms by all accounts.

Barrett coached Moylan throughout his Junior career…

I had forgotten this.

Unless you have the user's private key you'll never know where it came from.

I don't believe we are interested at all.
I believe Ivan is playing the game.
Until Ivan's words everyone believed Moylan was a spoilt brat.
What has it done since, made him desirable to some.
Now I wish I was wrong as Moylan would make a great fullback and plays very similar to Hodgo whom would be his mentor.
And hasn't Moylan said recently that he prefers Fullback?
But what ever Ivan has said, any club that buys him will have to consider there salary position and therefore may release a depth signing they were hoping to keep.
Positions 29 and 30 are not likely to be filled by a potential superstar with only 700k to cover both.

It happens every year a player merry go round.
This year it will be the Halves!

Sit back there's much in store yet.

A wishful prediction,

Green > Warriors
Maloney > Manly
Cronk > Sharks
Moylan > Tigers

One can hope.

If thats the case why wouldn't he just announce his retirement. It would only benefit Storms chances as they would get a lift from his announcement.

On the other hand, if he was going to another club n announced it chances are it would be a distraction.

Just because he hasn't announced it publicly doesn't mean he hasn't told his teammates. Maybe the way they have been playing has been due to that lift you are talking about. My guess is he didn't want his retirement turned into a circus, which it would have been. He'll make it official when the Storm's season is finished.

I think there will be movements at the COWS too. If JT confirms his resignation.

But anyone else looking at this thinking, WHERE ARE OUR YOUNG GUNS!

People talk about Penrith being the NRL nursury. We are too. We should have Juniors coming out of our ears, our noses, everywhere else. WHERE ARE THEY?

You been following in 2017 Col.. 😕

In 2018…At the Sydney Roosters, Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, Parramatta Eels, South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles..

Or do you mean Nofoaluma, Marsters, Suli, Liddle, Brooks... hopefully FG injury free and carving it..

I think we can afford Moylan & still have Money left over, I could be wrong but the figure i hear is we have 1.1 - 1.3 mill still in the salary cap. Hope this is right.
