MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

Has it crossed anyone's mind that if we signed Moylan, we would probably be no chance for Cleary. I'm sure Gus would make Nathan an offer he couldn't refuse.

Time many realised Gould has to much to say ,the problem with Penrith is Gould looks like another unsuccessful season ! I am not to sure what year it is that Gould said his Panthers would take to be Premiership winners ..maybe another few seasons .On Nathan Cleary I would be surprised any decision on his future would be made until this time next year he is in the box seat lets face it.The Tigers by then will be in a good position to sign him even if Moylan comes on board and if not the Tigers how many other clubs would throw massive $$ at him if his progression continues.

Moylan to 1
Benji and Brooks in halves
Reynolds to 9
Lolohea - Utility off the bench

Moylan ain't coming Mate!

Lolo at 1 (as it should be)
Reynolds 6
Brooks 7
Liddle 9
Benji 14

i Can live with that
Benji showed he can easily play dummy half (Except 1 error)
He can easily give Liddle a spell and perhaps kick like Hunt and get trys for himself ..

I thought Marshall was pretty good. One poor option at the end but overall he was really good. I think he is our best half on contract for next season.

We need another quality player or two but I'm not sure if Moylan is the answer.

Agree. Best option for us by far. Kicking game alone gets him a start

Benj's deft kicks were magical
One kick was poor but that still wasnt as poor as Brooks has been

Nathan's birthday is in November, so when he comes off contract in 2019 he won't even be 22.
This is an extremely tight family, so there is no way in the world Ivan won't play some part in Nathan's future decisions, particularly his next contract.
Gould can carry on as much as he likes. He's already been told his 600k for 5 season proposal is well short of the mark.
I keep bringing up on this forum the Panther's cap problems. Not only does Gould have to keep Nathan happy he also has to look after, Edwards, Mansour, Blake, Campbell Gillard, May, Fisher Harris, Yeo, Peachey. GOOD LUCK.
Our biggest problem as a club for 2018 is to keep Ivan and Justin Pascoe happy, if we do everything else will fall into place.

Why do you say "as it should be"
Whoever shows next yearthat they will be the best FB, should have it .
There's a whole lot to happen between now and the start of 2018 Season.
We don't have a clue whose going to be playing well by that time.
Could be Tui, could be someone else
The trials could determine quite a few positions next year

Exactly GCT - Best player should get the position and that is Tui.

Who else - Nofa, Kev, Thompson, Benji

Think he is better than all of them. That is why it is as it should be.

That sounds good , but hopefully we are not selecting on yesterday's form , but the form shown throughThe off season and trials .
Haven't we had enough of selecting out of form players over the last few years
As for Tui being the best . Il Wait and see how he goes over a few games next year, if he starts there

Article from SMH discussing the Tigers hierarchy at tonight's Penrith v Manly game.

It's all a bit MI5….

I am all for Moylan to coming to the Tigers if it is at all possible. Cleary has spoken highly of him and clearly he doesnt gel with Grifffin. A coaches role is to get the best from his players - dont think we have come close to seeing the best of Moylan yet.

anyone in the know about Moylan's future?

He won't get an invite to Griffin's 60th birthday party

Griffin left no doubt in anyone's mind the status of his relationship with Moylan when he snapped quite a hostile reply to Fillter when asked about him.

Cam you indulge us plebs who didn't watch what was said?
