I don't think Moylan has taken kindly losing the captaincy and this team now being "Nathan's team". I think Penrith now see him as dispensable with the way Dylan Edwards, may and Cleary are playing.

I also think he is not stupid enough to walk away without having something secured.

The press release tells me he won't be there next year. He is healthy and won't be selected, that says it all.

Moylan is staying with the Panthers….Gus had talks with Matt and his manager and have agreed to give Matt time away from the game but will still be at the Panthers after he deals with personal issues...

If by some remote chance he did end up at WT i don't think you can have Brooks in the halves with him. He likes to run the show like Moses and Brooks would once again be playing second fiddle. Even at Penrith when he was playing Nathan Cleary often had quiet games while Moylan called for the ball repeatedly. Since he has been on the sidelines Cleary has taken control and really shines.

According to Buzz Boozefest Cronulla would let Maloney go and he would probably be snapped up by Newcastle. I know its Buzz but when it comes to Cronulla he probably has some inside knowledge. If they allowed Maloney to go i would certainly want WT to be in the running for his signature.
