Apparently they are going to make the ends movable as well, but I haven't seen that anywhere other than here.

I don't think that makes much of a difference anyway, the biggest problem is with the steepness of the lower bowl.

Nah, my seat for Wests Tigers home games was right behind the players. Also many fond memories of SOO victories viewed from corporate boxes.

But I did enjoy the 2005 grand final.

I just heard afl are looking to play some games at stadium Australia. I agree it woukd be good if it was permanent rectangle but think big bash might play some games there too in future

They both use the Show Grounds that was rebuilt for them because they complained ANZ was too big, they didn't want to play there then they should not have accomodations made for them.

The NRL should refuse to have any club games there if it is not rectangular.

One really excellent advantage from Homebush staying as an oval shape is that a leg of World C'ship Solo Speedway may be able to be held there again in the future hopefully, rather than Melbourne getting it every year?
