No New Signings until 2017 - Jason Taylor Statement

You can all laugh at me i really don't care but i believe Lodge will play for City vs Country next year , this guy needs to be signed to a longer term deal ASAP or this time next year we will be talking about how this guy slipped from our hands .

I won't laugh at you.

Lodge will be better than Woods and it won't take long for it to happen.

He seems to have a motor on him too so once Taylor seems how fit he is he may even fill Blairs spot at lock. He needs a big off season and needs to be mentally switched on to correct those errors in his game. He is one player I can't wait to see next year.

I'm with Sirro, Lodge is my starting 13 next year. He would help plug the gap in our back row and has the motor to play decent minutes as a quality third prop in the middle. He's in for a big season for sure.

Also, a back row of Sironen, Akauola and Lodge with Woodsy and Taupau up front is pretty fearsome in full flight. Big question for me this year is our bench. I'd have Ava, Keef, Santi and Sue, and while that loses a lot of impact compared to this season, it'll at least provide us with more defensive starch while the starters take a breath.

I wonder if the people who can see all the positives for the WT's will put their money where their mouth is and back us to make the Top 8 ….........

I'am not a betting woman Happy, but i believe we have as good a chance as any other team in making it in to the Top 8\. If we stay injury free ( i know it's a big if ) and improve our defence, well we are half way there

What Taylor has done is very similar to what Abbott did after he became prime minister. He could see that there existed a big budget blowout and to correct this problem he needed to take measures. which were not popular with a lot of people. Still if his measures succeed Australia will be better positioned in future from an economic point of view. The same could be said about Wests Tigers.

Im stoked that I dont have to watch the two oxygen thieves..Blair and Anasta masquerading as footballers and eating up a chunk of our cap.

Im really excited to see our juniors hopefulyt get more time.

Moses is far better than Anasta, and i reckon Santi and Sue will show Blair how real footballers have a go.

Two upgrades and a huge save, and they are our juniors.

Win,win win….

I like your post simon. Like you i'am looking forward in seeing our juniors show us what they can do  our club is so fortunate to have so many talented young players coming through. Exciting times ahead.

We have that many defensive issues in our side our biggest hope teams will get confused at which person to target

Completely agree and it makes sense. If JT can do as good a job as Tony then we will be top 4 next year

If JT does "as good a job as Tony" then we'll probably end up killed off like the ABC!

hey as long as we're not cutting billions to education and health, then putting that money in defence i think we'll be fine.

but seriously, dont bring up politics here. it will not end well. :unamused:
