Nofo off to Manly.......?

@avocadoontoast Maybe he made a bad decision. The rorters aren't exactly a club that are well respected. He is a gun player but would he go down as a better player if he stuck with us and helped deliver a premiership ?

I don't know if any of those guys regret their decisions. I mean Woods is getting paid more than what we were going to pay him. He has clearly lost his status in the game but he never deserved the respect anyway. He was never that good. Tedesco was always a gun.

Nofoaluma retains his spot in First Grade at the expense of Jennings..

Another audition for Manly...?

How anyone who calls themselves a Tigers fan could have cheered Tedesco on after that sickening pre game puff piece should ask themselves some series questions. No thanks. Great to see him lose.

Aye I honestly turned it off within a minute. I got stung because I thought KO was 19:50 but it was 20:10, then they put the Tedesco crap on.

Yeah, lol, it was great wasn't it, how he went from the Camden Rams, to Origin, to Roosters...

@Earl I don't like the way Tedesco left at all but it's hard to argue that he made the wrong call. Won a premiership in his first year and has become the best fullback in the game. Woods would be absolutely regretting his decision, Tedesco wouldn't have regretted it for a second.

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t there a story about Woods, Tedesco and Moses going to the Bulldogs as a group signing but Hasler didn’t want Moses so Tedesco backed out?

If true, all this lovey-dovey Roosters stuff from Tedesco is complete crap.

@cqtiger they had their names printed on Bulldogs jerseys in the change rooms while they were touring the club. Makes U sick

@Earl
I think part of the problem is that fans expected him to be a leader and perform as such at WT. To be a leader you have to have the teams interests at heart. I don't believe Tedesco ever exhibited any leadership qualities while here, it was all about self interest. Remember his spits when a play didn't go his way?
Robbie Farah is a leader (like him or not). Tedesco is not a leader.

Mate Tedesco has backed out of more deals than Donald Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon.

@Earl absolutely agree mate (apart from the attitude comment lol i love my tigers) - he would have gone down a club great. thing is, he didn't want to be.
and i wont hold that against him. we all know he disrespected the club and fans the way he left, totally.

I just think he is an awesome player and i enjoy what he does on the field. I appreciate his talent, and clearly unlike many on this board don't hold a grudge against him :sweat_smile:

@Zach He'll still go down as a club great. Just not at our club. Tigers made him, Roosters claimed him. I hate watching him succeed. It makes me sick. And I really don't get excited at all when he has a great game for NSW either such are my feelings towards him. Maybe it's pathetic, maybe not. It's just how it is.

@rustycage i dont think its pathetic at all mate, that's why we love this game, it brings that passion out.

@tigerap where did you hear that? Seems a ridiculous thing to do.

It's from the Lurker.

Lurker = Dean Ritchie

In defence of Teddy as you may have seen on the Origin pre game show, he was a Roosters fan as a kid and Freddy was his idol. His dad loves the Rooster too. He played for Camden Rams who's colours are those of the Roosters. As a teen he modeled his game on Minichello. He's always been a Rooster at heart. He just got his opportunity through the Tigers system.

So it obviously wasn't all about money or lifestyle. It was a life long dream to play for the Roosters and Mini got in his ear during the World Cup for Italy.

If my son was a gifted footballer, I'd encourage him to get a start with whatever club he could and hope that one day he'd end up at the Tigers. Teddy's Dad and Teddy have got what they always wanted.

It hurts me too to see him playing for them, but I dont think you guys should be so harsh on him, especially considering the state of our club at the time of his departure and what he has been able to achieve in his first season with a top club.
Sorry a bit off topic.

On Noffa, I love him and i think he's still got something to offer our club, but he is on too much coin and I can understand if Madge wants him moved on, considering he's basically a fringe 1st grader now. Remember Parra offered Noffa more and we had to up our offer to keep him in a time we desperately needed players to show faith in the club.

All of that is well and good what you have said about Tedesco - however he strung the club along knowing full well he wasn't going to be here. The club carried him through two seasons on the sideline and he doesn't even have the courtesy or guts to be up front and honest about what his intentions were. You're right though - this showed he is a rooster through and through.
