There will calls of bias if they are doing well on the field.
I think now it's about coverage and increased revenue from TV rights. Is quality going to be an issue time will tell.

Yes, Super League is going to be raided. That comp is in big trouble when NRL clubs come after their best.

The tyranny of distance will be their greatest challenge- every second week travelling to Sydney ,Brisbane and or Brisbane will be draining.
That is, of course they play all home games in Perth.
Winning public support with the popularity of the Western Eagles and Freeo will also be a chaleenge.

It’ll have to be done in chunks 2/3 games at a time .
To be fair if the reverse is true re 2/3 games in a row at home , that’s a huge advantage IMO , so it will be relative I think .

It’s smart business. Opens different timezone options, audience and sponsors market. Will lead to a bigger TV/Media deal as well.
People think back to western reds days, back then media and digital age was nothing like now add to that Union was strong.
South Africa and UK will get raided, plus life style in Perth is actually very good.
They need to play finals early and get a winning vibe, if they do it will be massive for the game.

Yep ! When Matt seers made that break to “win” the game against Newcastle to send them into the grand final in 97 . I was screaming Go into my 30 inch tv as much as a tigers game .
Then yea …. Darren Albert ! It’s crazy they now haven’t won a league in 103 years.
