Must admit that we have signed a couple of good NSW cup players who will be good backup players.
BUT NOW we need at least one good frontrower, and two tough second rowers, ohter wise signing backs means nothing if we keep getting run over in the forwards. A lot have named players who might be coming but if that was true they would have been named by now. any one got any news.

This may have been said a thousand times but will attempt to say it again in block

WE HAVE NO CAP DOLLARS TO BUY ANY NEW PLAYERS UNTIL 2017

Every person linked to the club has said the same

Happy I think they mean if we can sign some decent backs for nsw cup, why can't we sign some decent forwards of a similar calibre to rankin, hunt, addo…
Don't think anyone expects is to sign top level talent

When you are bargain shopping like the Tigers are, I'd spend time looking for guys with a point to prove. A couple of the names thrown about of late wouldn't hurt.

I believe there is actually quite a lot of talent in this forward pack, and coming up from the 20's too.

And no word on a 'release' of Lodge, so I'm going to suggest he's sticking about.

The best forward signing the Tigers are likely to make (outside of re-signings) could very well be Chee-Kam, who could play that mobile back row position quite well.

THEN WHY HAVE WE ALREADY SIGNED 3 PLAYERS.

From my reckoning it is now 6 with yesterday's signing. We all realise that the Tigers have salary cap issues and are not in the market for any "decent signings", the question was simply if we are to buy NSW Cup standard players or fringe NRL players or promising youngsters why haven't the Tigers targeted a couple of forwards!! Is it that Taylor is satisfied with what we have (very doubtful) or is it that there is no-one within our limited price range half decent on the market.

THERE ARE PLAYERS AND THEN THERE ARE PLAYERS

WE SIGNED players not PLAYERS , BLOKES WHO AREN'T IN THE TOP 25 AREN'T players

I wonder if there is anything new to report on the Pat O'Hanlon to Wests Tigers rumour.

If you read the OP BB he mentions good front rowers and tough back rowers

Its almost October , I doubt whether any good NSW Cup props or tough NSW Cup backrowers are left on the shelf , if there were any to start with

I think its clear that we can buy players. We just can't buy marquee players. Personally I don't care. I think marquee players can be hit or miss. Robbie is a marquee player. Blair was a marquee player. Taupau wasn't. Naiqama wasn't.

I do think we need a forward or two but mainly to replace Galloway. I'd rather see Ava and Halatau re-signed though as a first step.

I reckon you could find a better pack of Ex Wests Tigers forwards running around in the NRL than you can currently find at the club

Have we re-signed Ava? If not we are mad!

This club has gone Farah mad. Is Farah going or staying? If he is staying is he playing NSW Cup all season. It looks like Ava has to wait whilst Captain Farah returns from his holiday and makes a decision.
