I like to think he knows exactly what these guys can do and he’s challenged them to get better. They couldn’t do it so now they’re on notice but can’t handle the pressure.

Agreed. The current roster know that by the end of next season up to 50% of them will not be here. Madge has embarked on a clean-out and many players can see the writing on the wall.

Well i watched the show some observations, seemed annoyed last night wonder if Broncos interviewing Storm CEO for the position has irked him as was thinking with Ikin gone he might be hosting the show next??? (Maybe not now lol and there own scoop was incorrect Broncos are taking there time till season finished tonight - Go the Cowboys lol)

He is quite opinionated for a former player that played 1 game for the Eels calling the Broncos player D Heads????
I would state that if i was a current player the way he conducts himself i would prefer to keep him at arms length.

Spud Carroll does not seem to make much sense as well, should of called for a HIA with the dribble he was going on about, better content on here and more informative about the club in general that watching that show.

Wow , I know they not fans or WT , but not oh boy they are really hammering the club

On Bj... if you can’t make it WT you can’t make it anyway

Before James and benji go on . Ikin says we ask what benji feels how WT going after they sacked him. He was not sacked , just wasn’t re-signed

Dude , it’s fox , they stick the boot in all the time . Even when we win , it’s tongue in cheek backhanded compliments . They’re sinking the boot in because , Ikin is on the board at the broncos , and that’s a don’t ask don’t tell situation , and Crawley , is a sensationalist nit wit . Lol he said we are paying Joey 700k. From what I’ve heard it’s like 500k , and this is the final year .

The easy way is.....

Don't watch it.

I watch the games on Kayo, 15 minutes after start of game, I join at kick off, fast forward through half time and switch off at final whistle.

It is still bad having to put up with the imbeciles during the game but at least it is a minimum.

Simples!!!

I do the same with State of Origin

Yah don't see how what they're saying is wrong. Club deserve this, mediocre for over a decade, should be talked about more.

What was said ?

Benji didn’t want to talk about WT, basically said since October hasn’t thought about them , his club is Souths and that’s what he thinks about

But did comment when they said what now for McGuire should he go hard or soft on the team .. benji said going hard didn’t work last year

What was said ?

I can’t recall it word for word.
Firstly they goad Benji into having some emotion for the tigers and his reply was spot on. “That was last year whilst I was a Tiger and I’m now fully invested in Souths, the success and failure of the tigers doesn’t bother me.” Fair enough I thought.
Then he says as an impartial analyst I’ll provide some answer and he says it doesn’t look good they are playing poor. But straight away defended them. “They played two top 4 teams in the opening rounds” would you have picked them to win it?. Ikin replies it isn’t about wins and losses, it’s about effort. And Benji replies I agree with that. Then he said “I will say one thing. Everyone says the tigers hinge on the success and failings of Luke Brooks. He is only 1 player of the 17. Everyone is failing at the moment.” James Graham steps in and says “it really doesn’t look like Michael Maguire side at the moment.” Explains in detail about the type of side St Hellens / Souths became tough defensive sides and that the tigers don’t appear to have responded to that style the same way. He said “it’s really going to make or break Madge’s career. Does he go harder on them or soften up a bit?” Benji pipes up and says “we’ll he went harder before and it didn’t change anything so maybe he’ll have to go the other way”

More teams in the NRL would be a disaster, there is already too big of a gap between the good sides and the also rans

Having watched 360 your summary is pretty spot on ..
I’d like to add when Benji asked ikin..
“Did you expect them to beat the Raiders /roosters “ ikin quickly shut up and backtracked .

Thanks for the review lads, very interesting

As has been said on other threads this is the issue with the playing group

They seem to not be buying into to the coaches philosophies.

Something isn't right at our club.

Yes true. My question is. Was Benji part of that? Or did he feel in his heart of hearts that the direction Madge is trying to take the team he just knows the personalities of the players and that it’s not likely to ever be a good fit?

I’d say the latter.
I was informed ages ago that the eggshells comment wasn’t Benji .
