NRL Rd 2...*spoilers*

Interesting that all the Momo lovers have nominated AJ as the player he would have replaced.

Not JTJ or BJ.

Very interesting.

Quit the whinging about Momers, he scored the two easiest tries of all time. Literally fell on the ball for the first try and the second one was some of the worst defence I've ever seen

He's a solid player who can do a job but let's stop acting like he's Greg Inglis or something

Yeah. A top 4 side playing a bottom 4 side on a extremely wet track, not hard to look good. Momers can stay where he is, glad we got rid of him, slow as a wet week. Very happy with who we have.

There you go Mike, you’ve just established yourself as the worst judge in this forum.

100%

So true ..
Even Corey Parker said momirovski runs on a treadmill
Why’d you think Madge let him go to Melbourne...
Cause he’s surplus!

Yeah, is that the same Corey Parker that got sacked from the Broncos coaching dept.

Lament thread that way ⏩

People are forgetting who we traded Momers for.... we needed a fullback wayyyyy more than we needed a centre and Laurie is a gun

JC, I agree that the swap was good for us and I think Laurie is probably our best get, I just can’t cop the constant bagging of Momo. We would have been better off if we could have kept him.

Who’s bagging him ? All I’ve read is guys saying he wasn’t that great in response to people saying we shouldn’t have traded him . From there I just took it as guys saying mean stuff to better establish thier position . It’s no different from the Brooks arguements , the Garner arguements and so on .

No they haven’t. I never said that. I’d rather have BJ go.

Come on Strongee, there’s blokes in here calling him a plodder, he falls over the line etc. The commentators today called him a try scoring machine. When was the last time we had one of those, apart from Momo? Brooks and Garner on the other hand...

Nofa scored 19 last year ?

Why is it assumed that it was either Momo or Laurie?
Was anyone else offered to Penrith eg. Mbye, Garner, AJ, Talau?

It wasn't an either or situation if we didn't make it that way.

Who says Penrith would've taken any of them? They didn't exactly need a winger, a second rower or Mbye. They needed a centre

Pretty sure Talau and Mbye have both played centre. Regardless you managed to miss the point. You don't trade quality.

We’ll see

A minute's silence before the game and some scum in the crowd felt compelled to yell something incoherent. I wonder which team they support.
