I agree. Clearys smart. reynolds would of been cut from team anyway so offer him around 600-650k.

Thats the max id offer.

We need experience and we need to toughen up. This signing makes sense and gives a good balance with Brooks. They will complement each other well. Don't get the we don't want him he's a grub comments, he will put in 100% and than some every week - this is what this team is missing. Or we could just be the nice guys - "Sorry I didn't mean to tackle you so hard" - screw that let's get under their skin and in their faces, show them who's boos

OFF-CONTRACT Bulldogs favourite Josh Reynolds has agreed to join the Wests Tigers on a massive four-year deal.
The former State of Origin player told Bulldogs officials yesterday of his decision to join the Tigers before revealing the move to his teammates today.
The deal is believed to be worth up to $950,000 a year and includes a car.
It had been widely tipped Reynolds was headed for the exit after news broke that Kieran Foran would be heading to Belmore next season.
Foran will reunite with former Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler.

If as reported it's a $3m deal over 4 years its $750k not $950k a year. Hadley et al should go buy a $5.00 calculator!

Not a bad plan but I would keep JLJ - good depth player in the halves. With a young halfback and a suspension-prone 5/8, it would be good to have a ready-made half in the squad. He may want to leave if he isn't getting regular 1st grade game time though.

Pascoe has said multiple times, don't believe anything published unless it comes directly from the Wests Tigers.

People still can't help themselves.

So in case people didn't listen to Pascoe the first time around, unless a member of the Tigers management personally comments on something, it's not official, it's speculation.

Think of it like Star Wars. There's a lot of material out there over decades, many nice stories, but if it's not officially published by LucasFilm (aka Disney) then it's not canon.

I'd rather we explored other options more. He's probaby the best available option in terms of next season but we'll be stuck with him for the 3 after that. Feels like they're chasing immediate results which only seems to work if you're the Roosters and can actually buy the best players, not just the best available players…
