Canterbury Bulldogs NRL star Josh Reynolds signs with Wests Tigers

Canterbury Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds has agreed to join the West Tigers, Fairfax sources confirmed on Thursday morning.

That's great reporting if they can travel ahead in time!

Woods Tedesco and Reynolds are very good mates,,

I've warmed to Reynolds last month or so…competitor grub who gives everything for 80min for his team every week...Experienced NRL player who has played Origin...in a crucial position..

Good News if true..

wow, so Moses wouldn't be released until the end of the year though right? or are the Dogs releasing Reynolds now?

Why is everybody coming to the conclusion that every player we sign is coming as a mid season signing. First Matulino, now Reynolds.

He is passionate, never gives up and always stands up for his team mates. Something we have lacked for some time. With Matulino and hopefully Reynolds signing being true, we are finally getting some mongrel back.

I think its good to have a grub on your team who gets under the skin of opposition players and supporters. Have we ever had one of those kinds of players? Hoppa and Tezza are the only ones i can think of way back in the early years. We need a competitor like him. Welcome grub.

You forgot about Bryce GIbbs he was a grub. Fulton was close too

I think Reynolds will benefit from our style of play. He was also playing his best with a competent halfback, imagine the combination with Brooks. I think they could create something really special here.

Hmmm not sure how to feel. Strongly prefer TMM, particularly considering the money Reynolds might be on.

I guess the hope is that his competitive streak rubs off on the rest of the team and he helps them lift. I'll reserve judgment until next year.

Certainly won't be happy if we're paying him more than 650k though.

I'd say the answers are yes and no. Unless Foran becomes available I don't see the Dogs releasing Reynolds and without a replacement I don't see us releasing Moses.

I have no doubt if he became a tiger, he'd fast become a favourite of plenty around here. Every club needs a grub. That's been our undoing. We're too nice. Look at how we treated Inglis at the start of the year. Souths kept him out there and we helped him out by going soft on him. Good show old chaps. Screw that. Lets get Grubby now.

Finally, someone at this club who actually has a win at all costs attitude.
Really good signing IF true.
& 800k is probably top dollar but not overs in the current market/salary cap so anything less than that is a bonus.

Reynolds has had blinders since Frawley became their 7.
I reckon the Reynolds and Brooks combo will work well.
Reynolds will bring a never say die attitude we desperately need….

I'm not worried about the money. He's a rep playmaker who kicks goals and we are a lowly club who needs to pay overs. 750k in a $9m salary cap isn't crazy money if it's true and if this actually happens.

In the end hes a state of origin player. He is a running 5/8 that would compliment brooks game management.

Im ok with this if the money is around the 600k park. not 800k.

Look at the positives though. We are a basketcase yet have got two state of origin players and a nz rep. Yes ex but still better than what we would of got under Taylor.

Didn't we already have three origin players and an ex NZ rep under Taylor, With ET, Grant, Woods and Teddy?

Edit: Forgot Idris and Lawrence.

We have been paying overs for potential and inexperience for way to long its about time we pay good money for experience and passion.
