He's passionate but that's not his strength it's his running game. If given quality ball he can tear defences in half.
This bloke was key in NSW winning origin and was instrumental in Dogs finals runs. The dogs are horrid they win some games due to their powerful forwards and good defence.
Agree TYGA a lot of players have sold Reynolds short over the years to their peril. He is a very smart player and similar to Terry Lamb in respect of backing up players with the ball. He is not a brilliant playmaker as in a Johns but he is always in the game and near the ball.
There was an incident yesterday where Montoya had the ball down his right touch line - defence was closing in and he died with the ball. Problem was Reynolds had trailed through down the centre of the field and was screaming for the infield kick so he could score under the posts. All to no avail.
It is hard to look good when you are playing with dopes.
I watch plenty of Dogs games as mates of mine are key sponsors. They are just bad from hooker and halfback and Reynolds gets the ball when the play breaks down. The key to success at the Tigers will be Liddle and Brooks. He will also shine backing up Matulino who has the best offload in the game when he is on. Cleary has a plan it's not just moneyball. **If Brooks can organise the team** Reynolds will be the best signing we have made.
This is the big question isn't it? I don't think he has it in him, tbh. Cooper, Cooper calling Cooper!
It's complicated as our pack gets dominated every week which will change (Packer/Matulino)and Brooks has the worst centres and edge backrowers in the league. McQueen will be a great edge runner for Brooks and Suli+Milne have some strike. We need another edge backrower (Boyle)maybe good and a tall winger (Rona) to give him some kicking options. We need some grunt off the bench also to avoid the inevitable fade outs late in halves which have cost us our season.
