Can we Mbye call him Mbye? Is that a possibility. The Moses name is dead to me

I don't know, we'll have to consult the forum nickname police first.

P.S. Huth Huth Huth Huth Huth Huth Huth…

Mitch is well on the way to dismantling Parramatta on their way to the spoon. We need types like his ans Aaron well away from here. As for Mbye he might like our culture so he may improve further. At that price its a bargin.
Wouldn't mind Jimmy the jet with us and Marty back.
That would do.

Marty has too many dumb mistakes in his game for my liking. Again on the weekend he was getting gang tackled on the first hit up and he was looking to offload and knocks it on close to his own goal line. You just can't be making mistakes like that.

A lot giving it to woodsy and rightly so, but if he was offered back at a cheap rate, with someone else paying half his money and he wasn't the captain, I'd probably take him back. He might speak like a nong and look like a loafer, but numbers don't lie. I'd never say never.

Why do people always think it would be good to get someone at a cheep rate…if you were buying a Porche would you only pay the price of a GoGo mobile..doesn't happen..

On Woods as Maz says to Rhey..'the people you seek are never coming back'..

People do realise who we playing today right..

A players ability on the field doesn't change because he gets paid more or less money then what he thinks he is worth
And it shouldn't
You only need to look at the worst made signings list that include
Jack Bird Bryce Cartwright
They are only worth a GoGo mobile
Woods is not better in his current form IMO
He just doesn't seem to have the impact you would expect from a marquee signing

Woods and the phrase "numbers don't lie" seem to be going hand in hand lately…

Yeh he's a stats man. 100% flopper.

Also the movie waterworld got poor reviews... Still an amazing movie to me.

Woods is a dud. No two ways about it. Pillow of the highest calibre and has been over rated for so long.
Big for nothing goof.

Woods reminds me of Michael Bevan ie. my stats are more important than the team.

Yes Aaron your stats are impressive, but your teams don’t generally win. And you are a major contributor.

This is a guy who wouldn’t commit and contributed to off field drama and uncertainty and then finally signed elsewhere.

No. Taking him back is a step back for us.

Don’t look to the past IC.

Obviously didn't watch a lot of ODI's in the mid to late 90's Donny?

The fact Woods, as captain, didn't want to be the man that led us out of the dark days, rather parachute into another side to enjoy success, is the only reason why I would never have him back.

Hilariously poetic that it has bitten him and Moses on the arse the way it has.

It's actually quite a good comparison but for more or less the exact opposite reason to why it was made. Bevan was one of the best in the business but wasn't appreciated by idiots because he wasn't particularly flashy.

There are some very strange analogies in here.

Id like to set the record straight.

Waterworld is one of the lowest movies I have ever seen. Actually fell asleep in the cinema it was that bad.

And Bevan was one of the greatest ODI players we have ever had,the amount of times he won us games single handedly is ridiculous.

That is all.

Yeah I did hence why I referenced him.

I woukdn’t be surprised if there is an announcement on Mbye tonight. I reckon we’re just waiting to get today’s game out of the way.

From what I remember the only stat he cared about was how many times he had to pull us out of the proverbial.

But I digress, on Mbye he has been the one positive in a poor Canterbury outfit. Ivan seems to get players playing above their potential so if he is coming well subsidised and can fill most roles in the spine he is a good buy.

Wonder where it leaves Tui though?

Or still negotiating over when he joins us. A win today may tip the scale for a mid-season arrival.

The Bulldogs furom is still clinging to hope that he isn't going anywhere.

I read last night Mbye doesn’t want to abandon his teammates mid season. Commendable I think, given what the brat we had last year did.

The club may push him to get him off the books. They're happy to have Eastwood chew up some stupid amount in ISP.
