Official Wests Tigers Team v Raiders

Who said we're supposed to?
I think this is a mere assumption.
Apologies if wrong

I think we would need to apply. That's how Luke Brooks made his debut last year, as both the Wests Tigers and Dragons couldn't make the finals last year, an exemption was asked for and granted. We should definitely use the opportunity if we can for the last 2 games

It will say a lot for the current coaching administration set-up if they don't bother to ask for an exemption.

Mayer said on his Twitter account (where else) that the Tigers have asked for and been granted the exemption on every occasion!

@gcmayer looks like we've used up the 2nd tier cap are we to apply for exemption looks like we are running out of players in 1st grade

@TigerRaptor we have been doing this and been given exemption on every Occassion."

That leaves me even more confused than ever. I'm confused about some of the selections in the past month if the NRL has been giving the Tigers a 2nd tier salary cap exemption and I'm confused about why this is still such a misunderstood point if it could have been clarified so easily.

Not expecting a win this week as the Raiders have plenty of speed in the backs which we will struggle against. Hoping we can dominate the middle otherwise we're in trouble again.

This is diabolical,we are carrying a secondrower on the wing and another secondrower in the centres for weeks, and we didn't have too,Potter has lost the plot.

All we have to do is shut down Milford! As long as he doesn't throw dummies and sidesteps with the odd acceleration he uses to beat 4, 5 even 6 players and sets up his backs then we'll take the 2 points! Lol

The season isn't over yet?

We barely got over the top of them at Cambo a couple months back, and that was before the feces hit the fan. We might pump up for the Sharks game, but i just see us going through the motions this week.

Didn't we finish that game a few of players short, including teddy?

These next 2 games are winnable just depends where our boys' heads are at. I really hope they are pumped up & want to finish the year on a couple of high notes. Will really do wonders for their confidence knowing they finished on 26pts & only 2 wins out of the top 8.

Come on Tigers get stuck in & have a go!!

Pretty sure Simona went off early with concussion, & Sue with a shoulder injury as well as Nofo.

I remember that game as Mick said afterwards that this team would die for each other. Really thought the boys would kick on from there despite losing teddy. Goes to show how much potential we have & how crucial it is we get the mgt part right.

Drip feeding info like this, is highly dubious behaviour.
Not what you'd expect from a CEO.

😛ray: odds $1.45 Canberra $2.75 Wests Tigers

Wow who'd have foreseen those odds five weeks or so ago!
Shameful.

I can't believe people still actually care that much what team goes out.
We are capped at the knees, can't make the eight, and should just flood the team with under 18s
The Cronulla team that played last week would lap us.

Those forwards look really good. I'm happy Gavet is gone. I rate him but he isn't worth persisting with because he isn't that good.

The backs though are probably really going to struggle. Akauola and Paterson are a major concern and Lawrence and Richards aren't exactly rock solid. Maybe those halves are the best combination we have and it will be interesting how they perform. Hitchcox over Rowe is the right decision.

Gavet starting in NSW cup

Gavet must have warmed up with the boys v the Dogs

I distinctly saw him in the dressing room pre game
