If they were high class NRL players ( as is being suggested by many on the Forum ) they would be carrying this side ...they aren't ...they will be lower tier NRL players ...exactly what we have already ....I did note in earlier posts that Wigan had injury issues ...Lam admitted himself the reason he didn't release Hastings this season was for that exact reason ...saw it in a post game interview .....from memory their forward pack was pretty injury free ......at that time

By that logic Tedesco is useless, because his team has been faring no better than Wigan lately.
The ONLY reason Hastings hasn't been playing NRL is he decked DCE.

He has always been trying his ring out and I never questioned that .....

The performance has equalled the effort lately ...and he deserves all of our praise for the last 6 weeks ...if our pussy cat forward pack showed the same heart Brooks has shown ...we'd be in a hell of a better place

What is even sadder is seeing our starting pack get monstered and then the bench comes on and does reasonably well. Stef's worst game was when he started.

The first thing that needs to be fixed is our starting pack. I wonder if Madge does anything like that now.

I'd be more confident if we were getting the bloke from 3 years ago who scored a great try v NZ in the game you mentioned.

But we are getting a bloke who has been injured 1.5 of the last 2 years...and lacked explosiveness since his return.

Next season is still 9 months away...hopefully he returns to his best, as he will need at his peak to handle the NRL.

But we are getting a bloke who has been injured 1.5 of the last 2 years...and lacked explosiveness since his return.

Next season is still 9 months away...hopefully he returns to his best, as he will need at his peak to handle the NRL.

If he can stay fit he'll be alright. It's still his first couple games back, if he can finish the year and stay healthy, then have a good pre season he should be back to peak physical condition. He's only like 24 or 25 so he's in his prime

And in 2017-18 we signed Reynolds, Packer, Matulino, and Mbye. How did that go?

Not sure why there is a love affair with the dogs in this forum, they have more room in their salary cap because they have a roster who has won 2 games all season.

we're not exactly flying ourselves you know. we haven't beaten a full strength team all year.

We're also still paying Packer this year and Mbye next year. Hence we don't have the same space.

This is some gold star posting. Hastings has been a star over there. Ben Barba was a star there but I think Bevan French is as well. We just got to wait and see. I think it's pretty clear they aren't as good as Tommy Turbo.
