PETITION LINK External Review

Not only were you there but you also recorded a podcast to celebrate the milestone. If the club don’t listen to people who are as invested in the club as you and your Ambush tribe, well, that says it all for me really.
The club is still very important to me, mentally I have had to separate my thoughts for the club and my thoughts for the people that run it.

Doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the petition helmesy.
But as you and @cochise are the main signatories to the petition, I am interested to know both of your opinions on various matters re our jv as they pop up from time to time which could be linked to the petition.

And 'once again' it seems Cochise doesn't consider my requests for his opinion re. certain people or aspects of WT and/or the petition important enough to bother replying.
And with you being a counsellor, 'how does that make me feel'.
1. You at least have the courtesy to reply.
2. Cochise's attitude leads me to believe he is very anti anyone that comes on here with a strong Wests Magpies point of view.

I also believe there are many on here from the Wests Magpies side of 'Our Joint Venture' that are not prepared for whatever reason to give their pov in support of or against the petition from the Magpies side.

Once again, I say I am certainly not against a board shake up as I feel it's very important that does happen.
And finally, I certainly dont want to see this petition roll on to become the 1st step of a Wests Magpies bashing exercise.

Lol. Amazing!!!

Let’s get this clear and please correct me I’m wrong but :

So your concern with having an external party review the operation of the Wests Tigers NRL club who are on the cusp of back to back spoons at the end of a decade of on and off the field failures….is because of a scenario ( you dreamed up) in which this third party finds leads to slander against a long dead nrl club.

Please tell me I’m wrong. I refuse to believe anyone could be that ignorant.

Pardon my ignorance but have we identified a suitable 3rd party to conduct this review, and if yes, on what basis have they been selected .
I remember the Dragons seconded Gus to conduct a review of their football operations but can’t see us doing that.
And of course we want someone who can audit our Board, our Admin and our Football Dept and not sure that anyone around who can do that.
All very well to demand an external review but need to prioritise and select.

😂 😂

Maybe if an independent external review was conducted and they found impropriety re: the board in any way then a change in governance wouldn't be out of order... Legally though I'd think it'd be a minefield - just so convoluted
Don’t know much about the specific area of law involved with corporate reviews into merged organisations(s)?

But you’d assume it could be done in a way that’s non-invasive, not fundamentally about the people or finances and finally, targets all areas of off the field failure within the club over twelve or more years.

But what if this review found more white in the jersey!!!

Won’t someone think of the magpie!

Don’t think that really worked well for the dragons though

Yea, I also remember Gus reviewing North Queensland.

Said to leave Neil Henry to do his thing.
Absolutely flogged Dallas Johnson for being signed with the club. Reckoned he wasn't worth that much, Which may be true.

Funny thing is I remember all the Melbourne players saying that Dallas Johnson was the hardest tackler at the club.

I reckon Gus Gould's NQL review had about Zero to do with the Cows winning the trophy under Green.

Yet Gus, at Penrith got that team hardened up and ready for the Premiereship. Penrith were not finals ready till then.
A Penrith staffer said Gus turned the entire club to focus on Football, he said Gus was a nightmare (he was non football. hated him).

We don't need a review.

We need board members who could execute a vision like Gus Goulds.

And this is the thing Bulldogs have been ousting their board every few years and I can’t see it helping them either

Imo the only thing that will change this club is a quality player preferably in the spine
Someone that is a danger to create something on their own
