I haven’t signed and I won’t as I know nothing about the board apart from grievances on here and I’m too lazy to investigate for something that I don’t think will make a difference
I’ve been around local clubs that change committee every other year. Many come in with new ideas and get tired implementing them and more often than not find the same roadblock as committee before. And when they get voted out they are happy to be relieved of responsibility.

Imo it’s the players that hold the blame at our club. They are paid to be professional sports players earn it
We’ve been crap since the start of season 2012.
It can’t possibly just be the players.
That’s a naive take.

Ned to promote it more on all social platforms and ask people to share.....even leak to press for some movement.....
I wonder how many of those who already have petitioned are invested in a reasonable way. Do they hold season tickets/ membership are they often going to games or even holding a foxtel or Kayo subscription ?

Are they sponsors?

This should be stated on the petition.

And now people are calling on others to share on social media, supporters of other teams to sign, with anti Tigers sections of the media involved.

Why should the opinions of these people carry any weight when thousands of others including shareholders/stakeholders, members and regular supporters don't want to be part of the petition?

How about the 40 die hards at the Robbie Farah protest.

Pretty poor show really, but there must be some way of pushing up the numbers with this petition.

Maybe a flogging tonight escalates things or would that just make even more people walk away and wipe their hands clean of this filthy organisation.

No one as far as I know is excluded

No one is "not part" of the petition except of their own accord

Don't like your petition.

What is independent anyway?

Why would the owners allow customers to call a review of their business.? If you don't like what is served up go elsewhere.

Board members are appointed at the discretion of the owners.

Isn't it done that way at your business?

We hired Brian Smith to conduct a review when this current ownership structure came into being.

Canterbury and St George Illawarra recently appointed Gus to conduct reviews and they are fighting it out for the Spoon with us.

Sounds like certain Balmain supporters looking to squeeze out the Magpies out of the JV hidden behind a facade of poor on field performances.

Many may wish to sign your petition with a misguided perception it will improve performance but it's really just a Trojan introduced by a certain Balmain faction to usher in subtle identity change.

Obviously, this forum is a tool for this project.

Most fans don't wish for this change.

You don't speak for them.
Well it ain't a facade. We have real "poor on field performances".

If this is a Balmain vs Wests thing, yea kick it to the curb. Honestly we need to do something to bring in best practices to the club.

Brian Smith can coach. But he can coach around the same time as Tim Sheens. He has insights, but isn't likely to bring new methods in. If I were to hire anyone, Cooper Cronk. I reckon he could spend 2 weeks here and identify what were doing wrong in our training and improve. infact that's probably the reason why Trent Robinson has worked out at Easts, Cronk would have guided him on the little stuff.

Elsewhere, you call through this petition fot a complete restructure of the club. I take it as in ownership, the HB group etc.

Clarify?
I have sent an email to the club, asking for please explain why we are so"bad" ...needless to say I do not expect an answer, but I think answers are needed, because they just keep telling us the same old thing year after year and it makes you feel like you are an idiot or something ..do what you have to do it will make you feel a bit better

386 signatures now. Long way to go. In regards to other comments about petitions not getting through, true, but we have to keep at it and if we can come with 5000 signatures then we have some clout.

Come on everyone, you can’t tell me your whole family isn’t sick of seeing you angry all winter long?! Get them to sign the petition too.

Got a neighbour who you don’t watch footy with because the Tigers are bloody awful? Get his family to sign it too.

Have you lost contact with mates because you don’t go to games anymore because the team is puss. Get them to sign it too.

Is your shopkeeper always into you because he goes for Penrith and like Cleary he is a cock! Get that prick to sign it as well.

Don’t let these knobs destroy the club and your life anymore!!!

Here's a tip when organising a petition. Try not to invalidate it by publicly admitting that you're getting people with no interest in the matter to sign it. It kinda makes the petition a fraud.
There's also a chance someone could screenshot some comments like this and forward them to the club.
I'm here to help.

So we have a petition authored by a podcaster, desperate for someone, anyone to listen to his show, and a failed ex moderator desperately searching for some relevance.
It's no wonder they end up begging for shopkeepers and Penrith supporters to sign it and still can only garner a few hundred bogus signatures.
You can only shake your head.
