Let’s try to not get worse. Don’t worry about getting better, that’s a goal to far.

Just don’t get worse. Ffs.

If you win a game you will sleep better. Peer collaborated studies will concur. For life should be balanced. Both winning and losing.
The negativity will dissipate when the brain remembers its primordial function on this planet. Otherwise it is extinction.

I've just had a look at Our game V Broncos with admittedly the benefit of hindsight and the angst having subsided, and I can't see what the mass hysteria is about re losing this game.

Brisbane would have beaten anyone on the night with the form they were in.
Just ignore the fact we have lost 5 straight and look at the game for what it is.
The Team spirit at the start of the game to me seemed good and I reckon all our blokes gave 💯 effort.
Unfortunately, Douehi is next to bloody hopeless, and Brooks is certainly not worth the $$$ we are paying him, but he is no worse than anyone else in Our Team.
In the 1st half we had two penalties against Us that imo we should not have been pinged for, and which stuffed all the momentum that could have led to 2 tries, with another in the 2nd half with the same result.
It seems obvious to me that Our blokes are trying things which is what Sheens wants Our blokes to do.

We the fans probably wont see a massive improvement for a while, but I reckon this game was and will be the start of better things to come if our blokes believe in themselves and Tim Sheens.

Be the player others want to play beside.
Use those shoulders. Aim for the ball. Aim to hurt. A bruise on your shoulder means a bigger bruise on their ribs.
Let's [This word has been automatically removed]ing kill those Parra scum!

I'll have to take your word for it as far as the game goes didn't watch it . I definitely agree we have some very over paid players and a few Quality players doing there best probably wondering why the f.ck did they end up in the sh.t house after spending time in the penthouse

I watched back the highlights with hindsight of last night's Canberra game.

Of the 8 tries we conceded last week:
  • 4 of their tries came off the back of offloads
  • 2 tries from an absent fullback
  • 1 try from an intercept
  • 1 try from bad defence
Canberra did a better job at locking the ball up, and when there was an offload they were quicker to react. They didn't give in to fatigue like some of our guys did.

Overall our front-line defensive structure isn't breaking down badly, but guys aren't winning physical contests and we had a pathetic fullback who couldn't cover the ground if the ball broke through.
