Potter has no oomph

Most of our problems come from dropped balls, stupid penalties and poor decision making.
You can only blame a little of the last one on Potter.

You coach catch n' pass, you coach decision making, not that there's much of the latter required in RL. Perhaps they should spend a little less time on wrestling and decoys and more on the basics of field position through set completion

guys we were never on that game after hayne gifted them an 18pt lead. Our combinations need time and we were playing premiership favourites. Patience pls, we competed for long periods but lack polish…. we are 1-2 yrs away from being genuine premiership threats....but from what i have seen we have more promises than any up and coming teams, despite our obvious weaknesses

I see ur glass is always 1/2 full, but can u put up with that crap for the next 2 seasons, on paper our forwards should have killed them not laid down like dog shit, they are a poorly coached side that fail to put in any great effort.

I'm with ya bp tiger .. I can't & won't cope watching this crap for 2 more years . This mob will be the death of me !!!!!!!!!

Potter needs to get us firing doesn't he. I think at this point its safe to say we need someone like Koro out there.

Hello! he left weeks ago. Thank God or it would have been 80

be realistic, Manly have been benchmark for 5yrs, with entrenched combinations. we are a developing side. We weren't that far off, we got screwed, had injuries, new combinations, players underdone. Cant fault the effort just the polish. I thought Sirro moved a step forward? Sue was great with limited minutes, Taupau outstanding, Lawrence good, Gavet & Halatau underdone, Nofo great. Plenty of upsides…..

Bad coaching combined with bad team selections cause a loss of team confidence which we are now seeing in heaps. This in turn starts a chain reaction of easily lost possession, stupid penalties and poor decision making.

its time to put pressure on mayer to make sure potter is not resigned, he has to go and I would ljke to seeit now rather than later. give the job to payten or webster or the tea lady anyone other than potter.

I'd like to see you get off Potters back.

What do you expect him to do with a young inexperienced team? - go out and play for them.
It takes time - get it!! They need to play games, they'll make mistakes, they'll give away stupid penalties and we'll get beat.

You have to wait for them to learn. Payten and Kidwell are just as responsible. It is called a team. You all sink or you all swim.

Potter was brilliant over the first 8 games - Oh! sign him up - next 8 games after a few injuries, experienced people missing with origin - Oh don't sign him, put the Tea Lady in.

What is wrong here is that nobody has any patience and wants the Tigers to be playing like Manly after a few games. If that's what you are expecting Peeps - you are going to be disappointed for a while yet.

I don't agree with some of the team selections but if you are a first grader you should already know how to catch, pass and play the ball properly.

I think the next weeks of Potters coaching career will be the most important.if he can lift the team and get us a couple of wins in the process we can take it week by week and give him a go. If we don't improve and by that I mean we don't win the next 2 games ( a winning culture means exactly that no excuses no close enough is good enough)he should do the honourable thing and quit. If he doesn't WT have to show all prospective coaches we are serious about winning and sack him. 2 weeks make or break Mr Potter. Second in a competition is the first looser NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!

I think that a good coach would stamp out first graders who continually don't reach first grade level. It's not happening with our club.

We just need the same side for a few weeks. We are not that far off. Potter is doing a great job with the team at his disposal….he can maybe change the centres but that means 4 rookies out of 7 in the backline?

I've just watched the post match press conference .
Potters got nothing .. No passion , no character , no charisma & nothing to say .. It was left to Farah to do all the talking . Farah May as we'll be coach IMO . In regards to next weeks referee I think we'll get our own choice of ref to a certain degree .

Ivan Clearly puts me to sleep as well but his teams going OK

They arent the qualities he requires to make him a good coach

Yep….we are seeing where we really are...peoples expectations were inflated and our two early byes had our position on the ladder decieving

Our bench was great really bent the line . Gavet still abit underdone still has some silly stuff he needs to work on .

Gavet was ordinary tonight. Too many silly mistakes and stupid penalty. Maybe he was struggling with the speed of the game.
