Potter has no oomph

:crazy All of the Tigers players who ran onto the field on Friday night are alledgedly first graders, usually qualification for first grade includes some basic skills, passing , catching and running with the ball, support play, executing game plans and not giving away stupid penalties.
Did not see too many first graders in the Tigers side against Manly, however, saw 17 of them in the Manly side.

so, what the players did on Friday night never happens at any other club ever?

none of the Eels must be first graders then either…........in fact there would be plenty of sides just for this year alone who must not be fielding first graders........

Manly were lucky to get 18 points against us in round 5, they must not have fielded a first grade side that night either.....

Stupid thread

wether its about the coaces demeanour, that doesnt bother Cleary Bennett or Robinson.

or if its about the teams poor performance (with great assistance from the refs I might add) well…it happens to the best of them, even the defending premiers can blow a 24 point lead only last week

stupid thread

it's just so sad that it comes from you -
I thought you knew better than that.
I've left you some notes
Hope it helps
You're okay

Egocentrism is characterized by preoccupation with one's own internal world. Egocentrics regard themselves and their own opinions or interests as being the most important or valid. To them, self-relevant information is seen to be more important in shaping one’s judgments than are thoughts about others and other-relevant information.[1] Egocentric people are unable to fully understand or to cope with other people's opinions and the fact that reality can be different from what they are ready to accept.

Whats the story pal, people only allowed to have an opinion so long as its the same as yours? This wasnt a one week poor effort from the team, they 've become consistently poor, what is your reasoning behind their form? I'd like to know

Oh I dunno

Our cohesion and momentum as a very young squad being severely disruoted due to Origin, squads with more senior members will handle this better
Our two main guys backing up two days after Origin
A five day turnaround after getting walloped by ladder leading Penrith
Losing our winger, playing with 16 and forcing a backline reshuffle after 2 minutes
The young blokes many in their first full season hitting the wall
Injuries
etc
etc
I thought it was pretty obvious

Look I listened to the game on radio as we had issues with the Foxtel Go , but the ABC Grandstand bird said the paint was peeling off the walls at HT in the Tigers dressing room

Clearly no one would of been happy with the Tigers performance but we were missing our starting Fullback ,our starting winger and goal kicker lasted 30 minutes , we are missing our starting centre , the bloke who has played the majority of games in the 6 jersey , our second rower retired the day before , our captain played 80 minutes and made 50 odd tackles 2 days earlier , missing the other second rower suspended , two blokes came back after injury

The magnitude of the loss is disappointing but you can't blame Potter for that

You can because his job is to get the best out of the 17 chosen regardless of whats happening on or off the field. His job is to ensure that the plyers perform and he has not done that this yr and the lunatics are again running the asylum!!! Stage one cleanout completed by potter was awesome (benji and co) now stage 2, bring in the coach - payten

The errors show a team not quite in sync.
Only so much Potter can do there.
That's more about games under belts.
Softer hands, refined lines, and passes suddenly stick.
Potter doesn't seem like a hot head, nor like he's here cause he thinks he looks pretty on TV. Generally a good sign when you need an effective mentor.

I have lost faith in Potter but sometimes it's better the devil you know (Smith would be disastrous!). Find an amazing replacement first before pulling the pin I reckon.

But all these sorry excuses from fans to other fans that we need to calm down and exercise patience cos there's a three year plan (apparently) which means all of us should settle for missing finals footy. Excuses that we aren't supposed to finish in the top half and if we even come above 15th it's overachieving.

Sorry but that's your inferiority complex speaking. This is not the premier league or nba. Any team can win. We are not here to make up the numbers.

And as fans we sure as hell should never settle.

Hasler would have made this team contenders this year, not 2016.

Triple M NRL's Brent Read says off-contract Wests Tigers coach Mick Potter could be a 'smoky' to coach the Newcastle Knights next season.

Potter is an excellent young coach who is yet to sign with the Wests Tigers for next year and has a number of connections at the Knights which could make him a good fit.

"He coached (former Newcastle player and current CEO) Matt Gidley at St Helens in England [while] Peter Mulholland, the recruitment guy there, coached Potter at St Gregory's Campbelltown years and years ago," Triple M's Brent Read said on Friday's Rush Hour.

Meanwhile, senior players Kurt Gidley and Jarrod Mullen have thrown their support behind caretaker coach Rick Stone to lead the club into the future.

"I think it's a think for the club to go through a process and see who the best is but I'd like to see Stoney get a crack," Kurt Gidley told Sunday Triple M NRL.

"He was doing well with the team before with probably not as much resources and I think he's a local guy and he knows what it's all about and will probably be a better coach after seeing what Wayne does."
