POTTERS NEEDS TO USE AXE !

Potters biggest problem is he refuses to axe players, last year we had to put up with benji and anasta who were badly out of form and he refuse to axe them. This year he has brought in Rowe and really he should not have been there for the last 2 games. Anasta , better than last year but he needs to meet the NSW cup coach, but still I bet potter does not weld the axe. To be honest Rowe was dreadful yesterday and Ansata was not far behind.

PRESSURE IS ON MR POTTER, SHARPEN THAT AXE, OR U COULD END UP WITH IT CUTTING UR OWN NECK.

I agree BP

Just leave your address and we will pass it on to Potter and he can use that axe

Yeah he does , but what's the use of replacing someone if we don't have a better replacement

If Austin is fit make the change but replacing Rowe won't help because we don't have any better replacement without messing around with the backline

Bp relax a little. Our first choice fullback in teddy is injured as is our second choice A FULLY FIT Tim Moltzen. So our choices at fullback at the moment is slim and Rowe is next cat up.I think Anasta was worse than rowe yesterday and the weeks before aswell and Anasta has to go.Theres a massive difference between Rowe and Anasta and thats Rowe will continue to improve whereas anasta was on the slow decline but now looks a fast one.Potter made the tough call last year of benching marshall and farah so hes not scared to make the big call.Relax on Potter. He will make the right call.

Iam not sure what players he has available to replace any players he drops at present. Injuries and I expect suspensions will hit us hard in our next few games. Our backline stocks are very low. I agree both Rowe and Anasta should not be in the top grade on form, but I really cant see Potter dropping them

Has anyone got a gauge on Abou-Sliemen's fullback ability? How would he go as replacement for Rowe?

Is it worth dipping into our 2nd tier cap so early in the season ??

Will Abou Sliemen be that much better to make it worth it

Here's your chance to really get into Potter's ear. It's on June 10 so let's hope it's not too
late.

" Wests Tigers are offering their members and fans an exclusive chance to join the inner sanctum of their team for a night and see how they prepare each week.

'Head Coach Mick Potter will be joined by his first-grade coaching staff as well as players from the leadership group to offer exclusive insights into preparation and training.

This not-to-be-missed opportunity gives members and fans the chance to be taken through the weekly routines that both players and coaches go through to ensure the team performs at the highest level every week both on and off the field".

The night offers interaction and behind-the-scenes knowledge that isn't avaiable anywhere else, so make sure you book your ticket for the night today!

bp spot on and Jerry way off.

Rowe will never play first grade as long as Teddy is fit. So I frankly don't care if he "will continue to improve"; as it's irrelevant for the Tigers. Same goes for Luani, except that in the meantime Luani is at least a competent replacement and is far from useless. Same cannot be said about Rowe.

Regardless of whether we all agree or not, it is very evident that even the staunch Potter admirers are re-thinking their loyalty to him when he picks Rowe, let alone Anasta. And I think that's fair enough.

Btw i'm pretty sure Potter won't be feeling any ax this yr.

Funny how no one can bash Blair this yr so they're that desperate to find a punching bag, that they find one in a 20 yr old kid, whose only played 3 first grade games and only being used as cover for injuries.

As i said, get a grip.

Surely Rowe's improvement is relevant when Tedesco is injured, like right now for instance.

the criticism is well warranted. has been dreadful in 3 matches and does not deserve his spot. was doing very poor in all the nsw cup games he played this year also, not sure why HE got the call up for first grade, just no where near up to scratch.

Could it be that Rowe got the call up because Potter watches very little of State Cup/NYC
games?

Lol one loss and he should sack half the side.

Get a grip

Two habitual non-performers stood out again yesterday. Team improvement is about getting rid of the proven dead wood.

Because real rugby leagues sides replace fullbacks with fullbacks ,wingers with wingers and don't make wholesale changes in a backline to fix one position ( no matter how important it is )

One way or the other we had to find out whether Rowe could crack it at top level

Everyone needs to stop thinking like Sheens and start thinking normally

Simona will be out for at least 3-4 weeks and if we bring Nofoaluma in we then need to stick Koroibete back in which is worse than Rowe in my opinion

Tedesco won't probably be back until the Knights game , we need to face facts that we have issues which won't be solved before the Roosters game and we are probably best off sticking with the same combination
