I'm in favor of upgrading Leichhardt - **maybe they could pull the KB stand down and put it together exactly at Birchgrove Oval.** Then knock down the LR Stand and build a new stand in it's place that includes both ends of the ground. New toilet facilities and food areas - laughing.
There is plenty of parking available (never had a problem, even with 20k+) just not next to your seat.

Who’s going to use this new stadium. Wests Tigers for 4 games and community or semi professional for the rest? Any other professional clubs?

7 games, 1 at Tammworth and community use for whatever.

Is that enough for the government to spend the money knocking down and rebuilding. I thought there was mention of multi use. Community use doesn’t need a big stand.

Because of a Greens controlled council.

The State Government has rejected moves for a new boutique stadium at Liverpool for the Canterbury Bulldogs and Wests Tigers.
Instead the money will go towards Brookvale and Penrith. Leichhardt Oval and Shark Park will also get funding to improve facilities.
Plus Stadium Australia will get a retractable roof.

What a farce - Brookvale and Penrih are getting upgrades. Leichhardt and Shark park which is privately owned but just so happens to be where the happy clapper watches football get funding to improve facilities - what does that mean? maybe the hot dog guy gets a permanent stall and free gumboots to anyone game enough to go to the Glen Morrison Toilet Block.
