Agree. It's not the end of the world but I reckon there will be plenty of hate coming for Teddy and Woods if they leave. It's not so much about the fact they are/may leave, but the way in which they/their manager has dragged this out to the 11th degree. The players say they want to concentrate on football and leave all of this up to their manager - rubbish. If it was my future I'd want it sorted so there's one less distraction for me to worry about.
I like Cleary's tone throughout the presser, he's calm and just wants to get on with the job. I like his last comment when the media asked him if contingency plans had been developed - "I'll let you figure that one out".

Don't buy any spoons WT's supporters , come September we'll get heaps of them
But yeah , the club has it right , finally we will win something
Wests Tigers , the new pride of the league

If you can do me a favour, just write the words DOOM GLOOM in your posts for the next few days, it will save me having to scroll down and see if you are saying anything that's not doomy and gloomy.
Because as a long-time respected poster, you've gone off the deep end here. We get you are upset, it's natural, I assume it's over Tedesco, lots of people feel your pain.

You'll need the Foe button then
Doom and Gloom is all anyone's getting from this poster , and its got nothing to do with Tedesco
I was a Wests Magpies supporter far before the time that James Tedesco was a glint in John or Rosemary's eye
You know I've been critical of Tedesco defensively and said in another thread that we might be better off financially if he leaves
This is what I find most amusing really , Tedesco will be in far better place now he has left the club , why would I be annoyed at all if I was a Tedesco supporter first and foremost
I bet my life the WT's won't be in a better place after it's all said in done
@ said:Where's Greenburg been during all of this? Why aren't the media pumping him about the shenanigans with the 2018 salary cap and how he can preside over an organisation with such a weak governance structure and culture that allows player managers and clubs, particularly the rich ones, to cause endless speculation on player movements? What about the fans? Is the NRL in the entertainment business or not?
