Does the L at the top stand for losers Geo ??

Perhaps they are on their L plates

Typo…but yeah...

They don't offer much from the games I've seen but wouln't be underestimating Wicky to pull a wabbit from under his hat....Austin will show and go a lot...

Damn right he will, surely it's on Taylor's tip sheet!

I like your confidence Watto but that looks like a decent side to me.

Agreed, Canberra are a very solid side.

Probably a better balanced team than ours but just lack a Tedesco or a Farah.

You would certainly hope so Barra

Still I can remember playing against good players and you'd cover them on tip sheets , and even when these bloke got the ball half the team would be screaming" left foot ,left foot" meaning left foot step and he'd still step around blokes with a left foot step

Read what is in front of you , no doubt Austin will try and use his passing game more often to try and bamboozle us early and keep us thinking

Raiders played very very well in the first half against the Storm. WHen they want to, they can lift physically and they have the players like Austin and Williams who can get points on the back of that.

Control their forwards and we win. But geez that'll be hard if they deicde to turn up and run hard, size all over the park and a decent bench rotation.

I don't share the confidence that everyone else seems to. We should win and we need to win, but I don't think it's going to be a blowout or anything.

Agree Squaddy. It will be another tough game for our boys. They're no easy games .
Fingers crossed we win.

Yeah agreed TM we have to earn our 2 competition points , Raiders will enjoy the occasion as much as us if there is a good turn out on Sunday . For many of them it would be a 1st time experience at Leichardt Oval .
I have a feeling we are in for a hard game.

How i wish i could be there at Leichhardt, :sign: cheering the boys on FT, instead of being at work. :frowning:

Hodgson makes a big difference to their side. It will be interesting to see whether he plays or not. They have tended to look directionless when he is off the field.

Raiders have a very weak edge defence. Hopefully we can exploit that channel and create opportunities for Siro and Simona and Tedesco around the back. .

Hopefully our home crowd controls the Raiders 10 meters. We were heavily disadvantaged against Parra and the Worriers. At least it should be even this time re the refs decisions.

Lets hope the club puts enough people on the gate so this happens.

from NRL.com "Despite early fears of a month-long ankle injury, Shaun Fensom has been named at lock and will be given every chance of playing on Sunday afternoon. The same goes for hooker Josh Hodgson and his foot injury. Jordan Rapana has been named 18th man"
I think Ricky is being tricky and Fensom won't play. On NRL 360, the panel said the trend for coaches this year is to name injured players in their team list.
