Seems they offered plenty, including the kitchen sink, but we just didn't have enough brown paper bags.

Really not sure if the OP is serious, as I agree bar service and them being deserving of playing finals this year.

Tedesco and Woods should both be released before the June 30 deadline. Both have been great servants for our club, and deserve to play finals footy this year.

Our season is dead, and long term we would be better off cashing in our chips. Thoughts?

x 2\. We offered him heaps. The brown paper bags and the chance to be a star at a successful team trumped playing for the club that supported him to get where he is at now.

He was really good today, led from the front

At one stage during the contract dramas he did look disinterested but he has been good the last 4 odd weeks ..

Teddy on the other hand, makes a try saving tackle in SOO but returns to club games and plays at half throttle ..

Agree with this i dont think Woods has let us down on the field but certainly has off it.
Tedesco on the other hand only seems to care about himself and has shown his true colours

I agree, i have respected his last couple of performances especially as he is in the middle of an intense origin campaign. In no way does it erase his behaviour this year but i really appreciate his efforts to get a win for his team. Enjoy it Aaron.

Maybe what's happened is the unexpected faith shown by his soon to be former coach to allow him to keep the captaincy and finish off his Tigers career leading in a way where he is driven by the passion of this club and not his own motives.
Also noticed he is not on 360 anymore.
Not sure since when that happened. But it seems like Woods in content on finishing his Tigers career by proving that he cares about this club, players and their fans.
Glad his repaying the faith.

Seems pretty clear after the way Ivan spoke about Woods and his approach to this game and his invovlement in the SOO that his opinion of Woods is vastly different to many who have called for the captaincy to be stripped from him.
If the players and the coach had lost faith in Woods I have no doubt he wouldnt be captain but maybe the players and the coach value Woods and are in a better position to make a fair judgement of his contribution than the fans are.

I think this is lost on people. Sure, he's going to the bulldogs, but anyone who doubt's his commitment to the team in 2017 need to take their blinkers off. I shudder to think what would have happened without him.
