Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

Pawsandclaws you have hit the nail on the head! Farah and his manager can sit back fat, dumb, and happy in the knowledge that even if he is lazier than he was this year he will still get paid.

Taylor on the other hand has to work hard and make tough decisions for his living.

Nice spin but we both know the real answer.

Do you have absolutely any inside knowledge about what is happening?

If you don't, your opinions are just as speculative as anyone else's on this forum.

Sometimes I wonder if some people comprehend English.
Ayoub never said he would open a 'shame file' - that was the reporters terminology.
He also never mentioned he wanted to blackmail the club.
All he said is he would present the facts as they happened and it would embarrass some people.
What's wrong with that?
Doesn't everybody want to know the truth?
Methinks some don't as it might shoot their beliefs and arguments down.

Absolutely 100% spot on, the truth is all everyone should want.

problem is 851, you are or will only be hearing one sides truths… its not like the Tigers will put forward statements from Sheens, Potter and Taylor to portray the other side of the coin.

Honestly, Ayoub and Farah are looking more and more desperate as the saga rolls on, and almost re-enforcing the assumptions that he is a problem with how they are choosing to play their hand.

The 2014 saga with Potter and Farah certainly went very close.

Farah's manager can't really sprout lies when he lays this bear, he claims to have evidence of the whole ordeal, if the club are being portrayed wrongly or he is telling lies then surely both sides of the story come out.
Usually in these situations the one keeping quite either has nothing to say or is in the wrong hoping it will all go away, maybe different here, but it looks increasingly likely that it isn't the case.

Ayoub and Farah remind of a teenage girl and her father. The daughter gets dumped by her bf and the big tough dad is out for revenge. ''No one breaks my little girls heart''.

Some people on this topic are just out and out nasty.
Not to speak of "off with the fairies"

What is the problem? The Club made their decision.
Robbie and Ayoub didn't like it. So we'll take the ball and play NSW Cup and spill the beans and embarrass the club and a few people.

I would suspect if the club actually said what had been going on it would be such an embarrassment to the embarassees that Robbie would never get another gig. If I was Ayoub I would rethink the bluff as it could backfire.

As for playing NSW Cup I think it has gone well past that - you wouldn't let him in a bulls roar of any WT team. They would have budgeted in 2016/17 to pay him 2 million - if he went somewhere else that would be a bonus if not, doesn't matter. As for another club paying him 50,000 and WT paying the rest to play for another to teach us a lesson!!!

Get serious - he still has to get a release from WT - if they refuse and don't pick him in any other grade - could be hard to gain SOO selection when you are totally not match fit.

Just pointing out here that two can play at the same game and only one has lowered themselves to fling mud.

Best solution Robbie - if you don't want to play for a non Sydney club and there are no offers - take the money and sit on your banana chair and enjoy the retirement.

I don't think you will be able to add another coaches notch to your belt. Not this time.

I've said all along that i don't think they'd stick to the reserve grade statement, but you never know, they very well may. Especially after the circus this goose of a player manager seems intent on turning it into. Farah won't play reserve grade for 2 yrs though, once he feels as though the club will refuse to back down, he'll broker a deal with someone else. Probably Souths. He won't run the risk of missing out on Origin.

Its going to be a fun off season that's for sure.

Robbie Farah has left Australia for a break and this thread deteriorates. Maybe the thread needs a hiatus until at least he returns to Oz.

More like a hiatus hernia! Time to put this thread out of its misery and shut it down.

If he doesn't find another club, which chances are he won't, this will last the full off season. There won't ever be a dull moment.

Will probably run longer than Days of Our Lives

He's not leaving Sydney made that pretty clear. Only option is he goes to Souths with WT paying his contract. WT have no Leverage here and our management are hopeless for letting this happen.

A lot here don't that's for sure.

Interesting some of the comments i've read on Facebook from non WT's fans in relation to the Ayoub article.

''Hahahaha!! OK. He keeps a "shame file" to drag out and embarrass his employers when things aren't going his way…..."Oh, by the way, I'm looking for a new club". Good luck with that''

''This guy is nothing but a cancer he has no future in the nrl no one will want him at there club''

''It time to move on Robbie. You are a great player and any team out there would love to sign you. But ATM your acting like a kid in high school who girlfriend broke up with him. Just move on and prove them wrong.''

''This is just embarrassing Robbie. What a big baby''

'' Poor Wobbie lol.''

''Why would any club want this big noise trouble maker''

'' Maybe your Manager isn't helping the situation''

''Lol. Wants to rat out everyone eles.
But had the biggest cry about tallis.....''
