Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

Well done GNR.
I actually saw Ayoub's press release as funny. In fact the only thing funnier is that they think it will have a positive result.

Could be the best thing for the Tigers if Ayoub discloses confidential information… Won't have to pay out his contract if WT terminate him.

Won't happen though, as the clubs are too scared to stand up to the RLPA!

I find it almost amusing…
The poorest club in the NRL would rather pay him a million dollars a year to have him never walk through the gate again. That's an embarrassment to his personality. For him to carry on like this embarrasses him further. It's almost like paying a stripper to put her clothes back on. Or your local establishment saying we hate you so much, well drop free beer at your house - just don't come back.
All a man has is his rep. And Robbies is shot to the shithouse....
Wears Tigers will recover from this, Robbie won't...

Surely they realise that going on the offensive against WT in the media is a great risk of alienating many of the fans that currently side with Farah. I think they've already turned a number of fans against Farah as it is.

As others have said, which club is going to want to touch Farah if his agent airs all the dirty laundry? I am sure WT has plenty of dirt on Farah too, if people want to start the crap slinging.

Who cares who said what, this isn't Bold and The Beautiful.

The club could have evidence that he is a bigger philanderer than Tiger Woods and i think the club would keep it to themselves. The club is a basket case, yes, but they're not that crazy that they'll go as far as make themselves look like a guest on Jerry Springer. The more the Farah camp carry on, the better the club will look by not responding.

Interesting some of the comments i've read on Facebook from non WT's fans in relation to the Ayoub article.

''Hahahaha!! OK. He keeps a "shame file" to drag out and embarrass his employers when things aren't going his way…..."Oh, by the way, I'm looking for a new club". Good luck with that''

''This guy is nothing but a cancer he has no future in the nrl no one will want him at there club''

''It time to move on Robbie. You are a great player and any team out there would love to sign you. But ATM your acting like a kid in high school who girlfriend broke up with him. Just move on and prove them wrong.''

''This is just embarrassing Robbie. What a big baby''

'' Poor Wobbie lol.''

''Why would any club want this big noise trouble maker''

'' Maybe your Manager isn't helping the situation''

''Lol. Wants to rat out everyone eles.
But had the biggest cry about tallis.....''

Unfortunately, just like a lot on here, they know absolutely nothing about what they're commenting on.
All blaming Farah when it's Ayoub doing the talking - sticking up for his client.

Release it who cares. Would be good to see what this farce of an administration have done to tear apart this once proud club into the joke it is today. Forget Farah he is the least of our problems we are the Concord Circus run by dimwits and coached by an Angry Incompetent Ant who couldn't coach Usain Bolt to win the 100 against 10 year olds.

I thought fans on face book were clueless ill informed yadayada - unless of course you find some that think the same way as you. Glad to see the Robbie saga has made you more inclusive of social media users.

Robbie Farah has left Australia for a break and this thread deteriorates. Maybe the thread needs a hiatus until at least he returns to Oz.

More like a hiatus hernia! Time to put this thread out of its misery and shut it down.

If he doesn't find another club, which chances are he won't, this will last the full off season. There won't ever be a dull moment.

Will probably run longer than Days of Our Lives

Lol Flip… That soapie, has been going on...on...on and on. Forever it seems 😱pen_mouth:
Hope you don't watch that rubbish Flip. Or do you...

Who could ever admit to watching such dribble…......there again, 126 pages here in this thread makes me wonder....!!

And just when formal press reports were having a momentary simmer, this appears:

Please refer: http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/wests-tigers/emotional-wests-tigers-captain-robbie-farah-opens-up-about-nsw-blues-award-20150916-gjnsvp.html

Emotional Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah opens up about NSW Blues award

The irony for winning an award based on team culture was not lost on Robbie Farah.

Weeks after being told he can leave Wests Tigers because he did not fit into the club's culture, Farah walked away with NSW's True Blue award on Monday night, which is given to the player who displayed qualities on which the Blues' culture is built.
\
\
An emotional Farah praised Blues coach Laurie Daley who presented the Blues vice-captain with the award. "The opinion of Laurie Daley is one that is well respected and means a lot to me," Daley said. "I like his opinion. He's a good guy. He has shown me great support. He was there when I needed him and he is a coach you want to go out there and do whatever you can for. You run through a brick wall for him.

"The boys love him. I love him. I would do anything for him. He has come out in the last month and supported me when he didn't really have to. For him to do that means the world to me. It's something I will never forget and if I get the chance I will repay him tenfold. I will never let him down."

Daley has publicly stated he would pick Farah for next year's series even if he languishes in the NSW Cup, as was threatened by Tigers coach Jason Taylor. While Farah's future remains uncertain, he has reaffirmed his commitment to the NRL, ruling out a move to Super League.

Farah said sitting alongside his Blues teammates on Monday night was enough for him to know he was not yet done with Origin. "I love this jersey more than anything for many reasons, one of them very obvious," Farah said. "It took on a lot more significance for me a few years ago [for me and] my family. Every time I go out there I give everything for the team. It killed me to miss the third game this year but I knew it was the right thing for the team. That's what this team is about - it's about making those decisions and putting the team first.

"While it killed me to miss it, the call at the time was the right one. I want to make sure I am back there next year to do everything I can for the jersey, for Loz [Daley] and for the boys."

Farah headed to Bali on Wednesday still unsure of what his future holds. Remaining at the Tigers is a distinct possibility.

"There is clarity - I have a two-year contract," Farah said. "Everyone is asking me and the honest answer is I haven't given it much thought. It was a pretty crazy end to the season and I am at a stage where I want to get away and not think about footy for a while. In due time, everything will sort itself out but for the moment, I haven't really involved myself in any of that. I am not in a rush to come up with a call. I am pretty sure I know where I stand. I just have to make a call."

An earlier post from CKtiger is brilliant on this matter. Manager looking after client. I see nothing at all wrong as it appears to be a chronological ordering of events. We all want the truth.

A manager looking after his client? Funny way of looking after your client P&C. Looks to me like they're not even in communication. One article has him in an act of desperation threatening to air mysterious dirty laundry. Ooooooooh scary scary! In another the client is laying back in Bali, saying I know where I stand I just have to make a call.

None of these people claim to know anymore than you. I don't think their opinion is any less relevant than yours. Ayoub is Farah's client, everything he does in the name of Farah, reflects on Farah. Do you think he'd be doing and saying these things if Robbie didn't approve? I think more than anything it proves something that was being debated earlier in the thread that outside the WT's bubble, he isn't the most popular player in the greater RL community.

Idk who told you that. Facebook is full of insightfulness.

Robbie only cares about origin.
Its plain as day after reading that heart wrenching article.
Robbie comes off as someone who never made the transition into adulthood. Extremely immature.
