Wow good luck selling Memberships, this seems a long way off being resolved and it's gotten very personal.

I think there will be a lot more people who renew than you think.

Hope your right, from the Tiger fans I know they have other interest to follow than watching us lose every week.

People pay to be entertained and if they feel there not getting that value for money? So be it.

If social media is anything to go by, supporters are split almost down the middle on the Farah thing, so there would be a good number renewing i think. I'm renewing either way.

"It was a good little catch up but there is still more work to do," Ayoub said. "These things can take a day, they can take a month.

"At the moment we have got a process to go through and from my end I will be doing it as discreetly as possible. I can't speak for others but I certainly will be handling it that way."

Couple of things from that article…hopefully Sam is good to his word...

Robbie Farah's proposed move to Sydney Roosters is likely to be dependant on the NSW Origin hooker accepting a one-year deal heavily subsidised by Wests Tigers that could even enable him to return to the club if Jason Taylor is no longer coach.A one-year deal would create the possibility of Farah returning to the Tigers if there was a change of coach

Strange I've only ever heard Robbie say he has never had a problem working with Taylor,,,,,

Good to see that players don't dictate terms anymore...

, what else you want him to say? If truth be told it would be along these lines " the guy has stiffled the way some of our players play there natural game, would you watch the Cowboys game at Campbelltown again? That answers your question on his Coaching ".

Jason Taylor a Coach :roll

I seriously hope everyone who gets a Season Ticket gets value for money cause this Farah saga has taken away any chance of a good year being materialised, as it's set to continue on.

I personally don't think Taylor is a Coach and lacks player Management skills and on that note can't demand respect from his players.
I will be the 1st to apologise if I'm wrong in my judgement of JT.

Not on the Wests Tigers Face book page. There is a clear majority that are angry at the club and Taylor. Not even close.

I think Ayoub has got them over a barrel …. The likely scenario to me now is Robbie stays and Taylor stays .... which is right back to square again !!!

Watched the Cowboys game couple of times….Farah wasn't playing he was away with Origin...Watched the Storm game too....Kidwell that day,,,?

The point is... the article makes out Farah will stay if Taylor is not Coach or if he is leave he may come back if he is not Coach...

I think it was Eddie who mentioned Farah wasn't responsible Sheens being sacked which I believe is true I don't think he was....if Farah remains this time and Taylor is sacked well I can't really say that's the case...

If people are happy with,,,, that the players determine the Coach good luck to them....I would suggest though that it's a slippery slope that won't guarantee future success ...

I think management should at least discussion with the capt about whom the coach should be and the capt also discuss with the players beforehand. The capt and management then discuss if they are aiming in the same direction and if not then why not. So at least management know where potential problems could be before deciding - of course it is their decision alone.

I was meaning the Campbelltown game as reference to being boring as Farah's most likely opinion of the game.
That was the 1st time in my life i actually fell asleep during a Tigers game ( think I told you that) 10 minutes before half-time fell asleep and woke up with 10 minutes to go. You watched it a couple of times 😱pen_mouth:.

People determine the Coach they would like at the Club by what they see on the field and how he manages his players…...he is clearly lacking any of these skills as there is more articles on the Wests Tigers than the Kardashians.

Telltails has a point, I've had numerous people text, email, call me from the wests tigers about my re-newing my tickets, people are not happy mate, i'm sure the club has done their numbers and realised it, "crap, we have a problem".
i'm an accountant and i have a law degree, i do compliance reports on behalf of my clients and i can tell you this turn around today by the tigers is financially motivated. they've realised that letting Robbie go is simply not not applicable in these circumstances.

Yep spot on icon

I have 5 mates in Sydney who won't be renewing 3 of them a Family of 4\. One of them told me he emailed them 2 Months ago don't even bother calling Them to renew and they still did and Emailed them that he was a valued Member, talk about desperate.
They didn't think of the repercussions of all this and obviously Management didn't get the message at the support for Farah at the Campbelltown game vs the Warriors.

It's not who the fans think they would like that is the point,,,,I think Jack Gibson should be coach would probably be better than Taylor,,,It's about a player dictating to the Club who they should be coached by…It is not there job,,,there job is to play football...if it pans out as most fans want that will not be the case....

Taylor couldn't even identify Brooks and Moses natural strengths…Maybe he did but wanted to show this I'm the Boss persona and we are playing a style you are not accustomed to and moving away from there natural games, even Farah followed this style which his natural game suffered for it (a shadow of the player he is).

Look at Bellamy he can consistently make semi final footy by playing a style of Footy that revolves around 3 players Slater, Cronk and Smith.

Taylor has no idea, Potter was never given a fair go.

I like how many people with revisionist history are now blaming Robbie for back stabbing Sheens. When the fact was he was there for 10 years and most fans were delighted to see him go by the end of it.

Bit of revisionist history going on.

There is many clutchers here, the irony

Ummm Sheens said it himself!

Asked whether a show of public support from senior players like Marshall and skipper Robbie Farrah could have saved his job, Sheen responded: "**Put it this way: players get rid of coaches**".

"**It's generally senior players too**," he added.

**"The 19-year-old; if you tell him it's black and it's white, he'll still believe it's black. The older player who starts to struggle with their form, and for whatever reason isn't happy - or his form isn't happy - looks externally rather than internally. That causes generally the demise of coaches."**

…...It's not about whether Taylor is a good coach or not...If I'm honest I'm not a massive fan ..the point is he is currently appointed by the Wests Tigers to be the Coach...the article I posted suggest that Farah may stay or go or come back if he is not the Coach...it shouldn't be that way...it's not there role....

What if they don't want to be coached by the next bloke...?

Any club has to list him for approx 250-300k as a notional value with the nrl. Nobody can list him under their cap for $100k. Nrl won't register it.

This is true but it's only the cap charge. The salary will be paid by WT politis will pay 100k.
This is interesting you can't release him for this and the coach player relationship is untenable.

You make no sense Tyga
tiga4eva is correct

The notional cap charge does not dictate how much the roosters pay Farah. They can choose to pay him whatever they want. Nrl simply decide the cap charge. 4eva is correct in terms of the cap but WT will pay most of the salary.

that only works if the rorters have 300k cap space available - so although they only paid him 100k if the NRL set a notional value at 300k and the rorters don't have that much in their cap then they are over and would be fined.

to be honest, I'm always surprised by people:

following this club has never been a business,
following this club has always been so much fun, the maggies, the tigs, characters!

yes, yes, it's a business, no one understands it better than me, but where is the fun…i'm a tigers supporter but i lived in Lidcombe in the 70's, i was at the games we all talk about "

I'm pissed off about losing Marty, it's like it never happened, we could have had the the best year in 2016 if...well, knowledgeable people decided we needed this.

I totally understand all that.

You can't just tell a player your not wanted and threaten Reserve Grade footy, then insult him by signing a player the same age as him ( Ballin), tell him his still free to look elsewhere, then tell him his In the Clubs plans for 2016 and to top it off in the end…... extend his Contract past his Retirement .
Seriously who are they kidding? Then they wonder why Farah and his Management have acted in the manner they have.
Pascoe even needs to ask the question to Farah " why are you leaving "? The dopiest of all dopes questions

I get the feeling the accountants will have this all sorted by mid week. Farah and his manager will find a figure that the club will sign off on. Than we can get on with football talk and can this drama once and for all. There are no good guys and bad guys in this conflict and there are no winners.
Time to put his ugly affair to bed for ever
