Well, whose backyard is the hot ladies in ,

virtually soundproof as mostly underground, and what isn't is solid core blocks and double fyrechek for fireproofing and soundproofing. Only heavy bass gets through a bit to upstairs but that is no worry.

this escalated quickly…...

page 250 before his new Club is named....We can do it...

Yes Geo I agree. I have been waiting for a number of weeks for something to happen - this thread was stagnating, the bickering was becoming personal among members rather than blame been focused directly n JT or Robbie. And now like breath of fresh air everyone is again focused on the task at hand. What makes it even more intriguing is the building hatred for Pascoes and the boards handling of this affair. This new twist has deepened the existing plots. I'm hoping as this develops we will see a lot more unsubstantiated rumours of which of the six clubs Robbie is going to. Has Ivan Cleary actually been signed up from April now that Robbie has gone? Did Benny Elias see this coming and jumped in early to get some free coverage about his nephew before it was lost in the wash? Has Nick Politis been stockpiling brown paper bags so he can sign Robbie on TPAs alone? Will Heighno sign with the Dragons and try to reunite the old boys club?
I had been seriously thinking of going back to my day time soaps but my interest in this saga has been rejuvenated. 250 pages you say - I say lets go for 350 before Xmas.

Geo, you must have missed my reply on page 245 to your page 250 comment - I still believe 350 by Xmas is a goer.

I am surrounded by retired early neighbours who complain if I wash my roof gutter out with a hose as too noisy. So I got the bobcats in for a few weeks and went the full Lomu and carved out almost 3 metres of bard clay. That taught them

for all your plumbing needs go to Reece at Byron, the manager/owner Wesley is a crazy Tigers fanatic but has been backing the club re Farah since day 1, a fully paid up member as well

Robbie Farah's bid to join a rival club next season after receiving a payout from Wests Tigers has hit a hurdle, with the NRL set to insist that any contract for the NSW Origin hooker be included in the salary cap at market value regardless of how little he is being paid.
Farah has been linked with Sydney Roosters on a deal worth little more than the NRL's minimum wage of $80,000 after requesting a release from Wests Tigers and full payout for the remaining two years of his $1.9 million contract, while other clubs are also believed to have expressed interest in the 32-year-old at such a price. However, Fairfax Media understands the NRL would refuse to register any new contract for Farah that was below what was considered reasonable value for a player of his standing as it would be considered an unfair to the club which signed him.

Unless another club was able to find space in the salary cap to accommodate him, Farah's options would appear to be remaining with the Tigers or heading to Super League to finish his career.

Before Farah lodged his request for a release last Friday night, the Tigers say they were prepared for their former captain to play for them next season after advising him three months ago to look for another club.
Instead, the Tigers had proposed a deal in which Farah would remain at the club next year before leaving to play two seasons in Super League, where he could command a big contract as a former Australian Test star.
On his return in 2019, Farah would take up an off-field role with the club as a Wests Tigers ambassador - a similar position to that performed by Anthony Minichiello for Sydney Roosters or Wendell Sailor for St George Illawarra.
The NRL has no problems with clubs offering ambassadorial roles to star players for life after football but would monitor the deals to ensure they were not paid less during the final years of their playing career or paid excessively for their new jobs in retirement.
For the Tigers, such a deal would not only end an ugly standoff over the future of the joint venture's longest serving player but save the club a huge payout it can ill afford - particularly as Balmain is due to repay loans totalling $4 million to the NRL next March.
If Farah rejects the Tigers offer - as it appears he already has by seeking a release last Friday - and is unable to find another NRL club able to accommodate him under the salary cap, Super League would still be an option as he could be signed under the new marquee player allowance rule.
However, Farah wants to continue playing for NSW and that would be difficult to do from England or France as he would miss up to three weekends of Super League for each of the three State of Origin fixtures.
Farah attended training as usual with the Tigers on Monday and is expected to join teammates for a four-day pre-season camp in Port Stephens later this week.
Meanwhile, the Tigers appear set for a battle to retain five-eighth Mitchell Moses, with seven clubs reported to be interested in him after he and halves partner Luke Brooks were permitted to defer a decision on whether to take up an option in their contracts enabling them to extend the deals beyond 2016.Moses and Brooks were with Farah last Friday night at the Hunters Hill Hotel as the Blues vice-captain's agent Sam Ayoub notified the Tigers of his request for a release, and there is speculation they are concerned with what is happening at the club, although both are said to be close to their teammates and want to stay.

Well Dah - I said this 10 pages ago - the NRL are going to be very careful in this case - the whole salary cap farce could be blown out of the water if they allow some club to pick Robbie up for peanuts.

Some interesting theories floating around this forum, good to get the pulse of Tigers fans on this issue. I agree it has been poorly handled by the Tigers club. They told Ayoub that Farah was not wanted by JT and key players before Origin this year. Ayoub asked them not to tell Farah in order to give him time to find another club for him and the mistake the Tigers made was agreeing to Ayoub's request. It has now been drawn out and damaged the Club. I can tell you what the Club wants is to have Farah completely off the books for the 2017 season. At this stage he will be playing for the Tigers in 2016 because nobody is willing to pay enough of his contract to make it a viable deal for the Tigers. Farah wants to remain a one club NRL player and wants a role with the club when he finishes playing and in return the club want him to forego his contract for 2017\. He will then go and play in England where he can get similar money and work for the Tigers when he returns to Australia. Tigers are looking ro use Farahs cap money for the 2017 season to sign Klemmer (he is keen to come to the Tigers and play with Woods) and a decent centre. Also possibly top up Brooks and Moses depending on how they go in 2016.

All I know is that when Farah is involved, leaks start coming out and rumours start flying. I'm thinking about the Dragons game in 2014 and how much better the club was doing keeping things in house until the Farah story got leaked this year.

Never believed the Roosters were interested as they seem to be the club of choice for media when a free agent/unhappy player is looking for a new home. Too convenient in this case really.

A board with any guts could have shut this down from day one.
"Sit down Robbie. We've hired a new coach and you are undermining his authority so you have to go. We can't pay you a lump sum, but we can afford to keep you on the payroll until your contract is up. Don't bother showing up for training because you won't get a game with us. However if you would like to leave we will consider any reasonable offer"

So you would happily pay him $1.9 million dollars to go and do whatever he wants without having to even turn up for training?
I'll take that job.
