This forum loves overreacting. Farah has one good game 25 weeks in and suddenly he should be kept? I'm not buying it. What I do buy is that no other club wants a bar of him for a reason, and after dealing with him for a while the Tigers don't either.

I'm excited for the Cherrington/Tedesco/Moses reign.

Whinge and whine…whine and whinge...
Had nothing to say about the great win but rushed on here to continue your bitter spew lol. Proud of you son.

I talk in seasons, not in 80 minute bursts. Helps me keep out of these ridiculous hot takes.

Rational thinking = whinge. Guess what? No one wants Farah. Keep emotions out of it and see it for what it is.

And yet no one seems to be addressing Farah's priorities. There's been no talk that he wants to be here beyond this yr to help turn this club around, the only talk is that he wants to stay in the NRL to play another Origin series. So people supporting him are happy for him to put his state in front of his club?

Exactly.

I want to play origin, I want to stay in Sydney, iiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

None of the loyalists will address it.

Address what -the "talk" ??? Until you quote something factual instead of throwing out some speculative statement that supports your own personal view, why should anyone address anything.

The irony in this post. We've seen article after article of speculation that's pro-Farah, but that gets taken as gospel. But when its the other way that doesn't suit your argument its just hearsay? Right.

The crowd showed Taylor and management what they think. The players did also. Robbie did his chances of being signed by a rival club no harm…I bet they were all watching.
Nothing more needs to be said really.

With Souths looking average lately, I'd say Robbie will have a missed call from Maguire when he turns on his phone.

Is that right? Well I saw a stadium half full of people today who would beg to differ. As for other clubs, you wouldn't have the faintest idea what is going on in their board rooms.

Yep and I'd suspect they've never been out of the hunt. Just trying to get him for lowest price possible so WT pays 3/4 of his wage. He plays like this again next week and momentum might swing into our clubs favor with negotiations.

Good point. We have seen 10 of these types of performances at the end of the season in recent years. The other 3 years Farah has been at the club, we made the finals….

Yes it's all his fault Garry, all his fault.

Tigers fans want him for what he was. Not for what he is. He's still a legend in their eyes, and I'm not denying it. Doesn't mean his time isn't up.

And yes, clubs publicly have refused Farah. You can pretend this is 2007-2011, but it isn't. Farah is not that player, and right now he's not worth the trouble.

Can someone please answer me this and apologies in advance if it is a stupid question but, can Wests Tigers and Robbie Farah somehow structure an overriding one or two year contract for less money than the current contract is worth in order to ensure Robbie can stay and ease cap pressure?

The problem is Marzie that his contract for next 2 years is so big because of defered payments from previous. His contract is market rate + what he is already owed. I don't think they could really do to much fairly.

Apology accepted.

The players want him for what he is. Did you notice their jubilation today?

Yeah so much for the divided team spin. They dont have to be best mates off the field, to play for the jersey and respect each other on the field. No evidence of disunity there unless they are really good actors. A significant moment when Mania replaced Farah.

Can someone address the Origin issue? Has there been any indication that he isn't more concerned about staying in the NRL to play Origin than help re-build our club?

ANNNNNNNYYYYYYYYOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE???????

Maybe some one will address it when you tell us where you heard Robbie actually say that he is more concerned about staying in the NRL to play origin than help rebuild our club. Until then it all just sounds like another angle to create another reason to have a crack at him. Call me a loyalist all day long- I have been called worse.

If that is the case it only highlights the issues that run deep in this Clubs culture…why does one need to be mutually exclusive of the other....

No need for Coaches at all..Time to innovate Wests Tigers...

Top post Telltails.
GNR how about after game 2 this year he backs up for us with a crook shoulder and busts his hand ruling him out of game 3? Gallen doesn't backup if he grazes his knee during origin.
What about today when he claimed that getting off the bottom was the focus rather than farewells to Gal and Pat and possibly including his own and Rowdy's as well? He played that game today not as an up yours to Taylor but as an effort to ensure we don't get the spoon.
Now you prove your opinion correct if you can.
