Thanks Tony33 for the summary.

The question I have is why did the Board which has made a huge effort to improve the image of the club. allow Taylor and Reddy to meet with Farah and his agent? Clearly if what is alleged to have been said is true, both probably handled the situation as well as Taylor spoke at the post match press conference.

Because the club has no CEO which with such a big decision was a mistake but what is done is done makes you wonder though.

Benji Marshall on NRL 360 tonight:

In 2012 both he and Robbie took $80,000 and $200,000 pay cuts respectively to keep the squad under the salary cap with the $400,000 outstanding to be paid to Robbie in 2016-17 in this current contract.

So in reality Robbie isn't on $900,000 a year but $700,000 a year for the next 2 years with the outstanding balance being what he is owed for past services (When he was killing it in the Sheen's days).

Benji's thoughts on Robbie as a person:

- Extremely passionate about everything he does - The Tigers
- As a result he isn't everybody's cup of tea
- Handles losses extremely hard
- Was the only person to put other players in line when they stuffed up whilst Benji was at the club up until 2013
- If he doesn't think something is being done in the best interests of the Tigers he doesn't take a backseat and lets his opinion be known

He also thinks that this whole situation is JT wanting to show who's boss by removing the only person with the balls to stand up him when he thinks things are being done wrong.

To be honest I'm a big fan of Robbie but considering what Benji has just shared on NRL360 it's no surprise JT wants to remove Robbie from the club. The only thing that makes it hard to cop is how much he has given to this club including the aforementioned pay cuts he took.

Such a difficult situation for the club and at the end of the day there will be no winner.

Farah isnt perfect Tony, he needed to be pulled into line.

From what ive been told though he has changed his ways a little this year.Benji wouldnt be aware of this.

Unfortunately being the big personality at the club he is the young players seek him out when they have issues. This whole thing started because the young players kept going to Farah with their concerns on the coaching. Farah re-assured them for most of the season until recently he approached Taylor with the teams concerns.

Taylor wants Farah gone for no other reason than to eliminate the young players going to him. He doesnt like the way they look up to him as it kind of diminishes his role and influence on the playing squad.

This is just what ive been told, no more no less. Make of it what you will, see if sounds like truth.

I'd say Farah would've been put on notice when Taylor was appointed .
As you say Farah is a big personality , IMO Farah got it wrong with Potter , but again IMO he's got it right this time " Taylor can't coach ".

So if what your saying is true then Taylor might as well walk away on Monday as it is obvious from what you have stated he has lost the players and they have no respect for him and are seeking council with Farah . So Taylor should walk away on Monday as next year will not improve at all he is a lame duck.

I have advocated the new board from the beginning, supported the coach and was just as vocal as anyone in the Robbie chant at Cambo last Sunday. I am soooo hoping for a resolution so they can stay together. There's no two ways about it …. This is the biggest PR disaster the club has faced since we started in 2000\. It has to be resolved sooner rather than later ... ie this week.

Interesting, so no coach is going to have an easy time of it then with Robbie there by the sounds. How many other coaches would put up with that?

Interesting, so no coach is going to have an easy time of it then with Robbie there by the sounds. How many other coaches would put up with that?

The top coaches in Hasler / Bennett etc wouldn't need to put up with a rebelling Farah cause they know what they're doing .
Taylor doesn't .
