There is a poster who comes on here now and again,he apparently has "inside knowledge"his name escapes me however , he said Taylor has KPIs in his contract which kick in in round 13 ,2016,failing a miracle and SBW and Sam Burgess and Michael Jennings coming here, he will not make them

What are the KPI's?

How do people know that he will not make them if they do not know what they are? Duh.

If he hasnt backed up all his talk with results, come mid season he will be gone.

Reality of the NRL.

I've heard if he hasn't won more games than he's lost by round 13 , then he'll be gone ….Then in steps Kimmorley !

I'm the first to admit I haven't been a fan of him this yr and his style, but it's very far fetched to say he's got a deadline which is halfway through next yr. Marina Go said herself they have a 5 yr plan. How does sacking a coach 18 months in fit into that plan? And whose going to pay him out, especially if we've just paid Farah 1 mil? We're not made of money. I can't see JT getting sacked until he's had a chance to at least go into the player market.

We won't have to to pay him out if he doesn't fulfil his part of the contract. Regardless, can't see jt getting the sack

I love how people use the term pay cut… When in reality it's probably more apt to say they loaned the club some money for a few years.
He'll be paid in full

that's a terrible example.

he could've used the 400K and invested it in his restaurant, property, given to his family etc. he didn't have to loan it to the WT. however, he CHOSE to invest it in the WT hoping he could stay a one club man and possibly win a premiership here.

agree with the first sentence though- it's definitely not a pay cut and he'll be paid in full regardless of what happens.

AND he could have tested the market for his "real" value… Which based on his form the last 3 years, Would be no where the money he has been getting.

We are the only club that thought Farah is worth 1mil a year.

Benji banging on about taking a pay cut to help the club and all....
Call Martin Tauber and ask him if Benji is making as much at the Dragons this year and last as he would have if he had stayed and saw out his contract with us?

I very much doubt it, We were overpaying him as well....

Ive heard he only has to win one game next year to keep his job.

Okay. So i made it up. But doesnt stop some others pretending they have inside and reliable info. Truth is, we wouldn't have a clue what KPI's he has negotiated.

I don't think many of us would know what the KPIs are in Taylor's contract….I dare say for "NEXT"season on field performance would be the biggest one of interest after having a clean out and sorting a majority of his roster this year,as well as the salary cap debacle....
In my opinion,JT has until mid next season to show a big improvement on this year and then we may see what the KPIs have in store for him...

While on the subject of KPIs,they come in different shapes and forms, depending on what the particular business is looking for…when I had my contract drawn up,included was PAs..they are Performance Apraisals, when I was due to have my evaluation of the PAs,I was shown what areas I achieved high marks for and for the ones I had low markings for I had 3 months to improve on them....otherwise it led to a written warning if I didn't achieve better results on the low marked PAs....

What I'm trying to clarify for you guys is,we don't know what is contained within JTs contract, and either he does get an evaluation first and then time to improve on them or not, without seeing the contract we will not know.....cheers I hope that this has helped some of you fine people...

One question.
Who will step into Robbie's position?

I'm not talking about his playing position, I'm talking about the "bad influence" position.

It's been my experience that when a company moves on 'trouble makers' someone else invariably pops up to cause trouble.

OKkkk… If you say so... 😕

I'm just amazed with some of the comments here by Tigers supporters. This guy who people are bagging took a pay cut to help the club we all love so we could be competitive. Yes he was going to be payed at a later date but he knew with the salary cap going up that would help the club we love.
Let's get rid of farah. This forum majority wanted Blair gone (playing semi final football) Benji gone (playing semi final football) but wanted Austin to stay ( not playing semi final football) looks like we are all good judges here…
Farah is a winner and he feels let down that a club he plays for is again not playing semi final football and as a fan I would rather a player that hurts like us when they lose to players that see this as 'just a job'

Couldn't agree more EP. Especially with the last sentence.

If that's the case tell tails… The players need to suck it up
Players are supposed to play
Coaches coach
When did the lines get so blurred... Is it this generation that ferl like their constantly owed something.... This really pees me off

KNOW YOUR PLACE

Wrong Ink they dont need to suck it up cause they have got options and contracts mean nothing these days - our club has proved that. We can always pay them to play somewhere else - thats worked well for us so far.

Yep. We never learn. And there's a "Special Sale" at the moment for our Captain. WT will pay hundreds of thousands to some lucky club, to take him off our hands. Never a dull moment, supporting this club is there? :frowning:

Do we really have to play the true supporter card? For everyone who questions the kind of supporter someone is for bagging Farah, the same argument can be made about those people and their bashing of JT and the board. Its an argument that makes for another merry go round. As if this thread hasn't had enough already.

Glenn Stewart has been told to explore his options by Souths next yr. Wonder if he'll seek legal aide and turn it into a media circus.

Where did you hear this? Even if so Glenn didn't give 12 years of his life to that club, he didn't give up a great amount of money to play for Souths. He will probably be off to Manly next year anyway if true.

When I read the last sentence on EP,s post I think are people really serious ..Farah last season did not seem to be let down by the club not playing finals footy,Mr Precious decided to spit the dummy when the team could of jagged a finals spot beat the Bulldogs comprehensively and then that was it . Robbie Farah only concerns himself with Robbie Farah and the sooner that realisation hits home the better ,thanks for the memories you would of been punted last season if it was my decision.

Your the one playing poker and most people are sick of your bluffing!
Why dont you stop turning the merry go round everytime somebody supports Farah or accuses JT.

You have no idea buddy…
Go follow another club if you dont respect our 'Life Members' because there the ones that made our club.
Your a disgrace and a dissapointment if you criticise our long term players with media rubbish and self opinionated fluff.
