…..........That's hilarious Ink,
I've yet to see any player talk about Potter or Taylor in glowing terms, , but apparently Robbie should. Maybe we should buy a real coach for a change. That'd be nice , wouldn't it.

Maybe on the other hand we should get rid of unprofessional players that aren't able to work with anyone other than their perception of 'elite' coaches…..Hang on, wait, we are! YAY!

Seems like the only one not wanting to work with anyone is Taylor.

Fair enough GCT I have to admit that on this occasion you may be correct.

September 3rd Daily Telegraph:- "Robbie Farah Says Jason Taylor is a Great Coach".

Coming from the man himself sort of undermines all the arguments on this forum that Taylor is not a good coach.

So where does that leave us? Great coach wants to move a player on for various reasons. Hmmmm

Interesting some of the comments i've read on Facebook from non WT's fans in relation to the Ayoub article.

''Hahahaha!! OK. He keeps a "shame file" to drag out and embarrass his employers when things aren't going his way…..."Oh, by the way, I'm looking for a new club". Good luck with that''

''This guy is nothing but a cancer he has no future in the nrl no one will want him at there club''

''It time to move on Robbie. You are a great player and any team out there would love to sign you. But ATM your acting like a kid in high school who girlfriend broke up with him. Just move on and prove them wrong.''

''This is just embarrassing Robbie. What a big baby''

'' Poor Wobbie lol.''

''Why would any club want this big noise trouble maker''

'' Maybe your Manager isn't helping the situation''

''Lol. Wants to rat out everyone eles.
But had the biggest cry about tallis.....''

Unfortunately, just like a lot on here, they know absolutely nothing about what they're commenting on.
All blaming Farah when it's Ayoub doing the talking - sticking up for his client.

None of these people claim to know anymore than you. I don't think their opinion is any less relevant than yours. Ayoub is Farah's client, everything he does in the name of Farah, reflects on Farah. Do you think he'd be doing and saying these things if Robbie didn't approve? I think more than anything it proves something that was being debated earlier in the thread that outside the WT's bubble, he isn't the most popular player in the greater RL community.

Popularity is overrated…

I’d be very interested to read first-hand accounts of what the Club’s players feel about Taylor and his coaching skills. It would be even more interesting for the younger players to compare his coaching, people skills and communication skills against those of say Matt Head, Todd Payten and Brett Kimmorely.

I’d also enjoy hearing the scuttlebutt from player managers about their feelings on the WTs’ club, Taylor and the Club’s chances of attracting top talent.

They wouldn't be gain enough they would never see 1st Grade again as many would have no hope at any other Club .
So they would be keeping there opinions amongst themselves i reckon.
Robbie will bring a book out eventually

126 pages, and we're still whinging and whineing ?

Lol… To go with all the whinging and whineing, we are also a bunch of judgemental know -it-alls.

Spot on, it is it astonishing to realise how many 'in-the-know' experts frequent this site

Read some criticism of Ayoub for saying he had detailed documentation of all his dealings with Robbie and the club and saying he'd use this material if he had to. If I was dealing with the NRL or with any NRL club I'd keep a detailed record as well!

I think everyone has an idea of what they're commenting **and to say otherwise because their opinion is different to yours is somewhat arrogant** but I digress. Ayoub is Farah's client, everything he does in the name of Farah, reflects on Farah. Do you think he'd be doing and saying these things if Robbie didn't approve? Ha ha - well said after giving it to the 30 people who were protesting about Farah's removal.
Most of the comments on this Facebook page you quoted were about Farah - and not the person doing the talking, Ayoub.
That was my point.
Everyone can speculate all they like that Farah knew he was going to do it - but they don't actually know that.

I'm afraid you have it quite wrong ck.

Ayoub, as Farah's agent, is a spokesperson for his client's interests. Whether or not Farah is specifically approving what Ayoub is saying before he says it, no we cannot know that, but Ayoub is acting expressly in the interests of and on behalf of his client.

Have you ever sold a house? Do you think your real estate agent would go making comments to prospective buyers, agreeing to prices or speaking on your behalf without your prior consultation and consent?

Or what about your lawyer?

And if Farah is genuinely not aware of, or not vetting Ayoub's public comments, then it is extremely poor representation. You are either saying Ayoub has gone rogue, or Farah has given him carte blanche to handle this situation however he pleases. Which in itself is poor, imagine such a delicate situation and Farah says "you handle this however you want Sam, I'm off to Bali for a while".

Ayoub was also aware the Tigers were releasing Farah prior to the Canberra game & didn't tell his client until much later because he didn't want to 'upset him' or some rubbish.

That is also bad representation- or a fat lie.

I suspect Robbie has known for quite some time that his time with the Tigers was coming to an end. Again, speculation- but perhaps he was holding off doing anything, hoping that results on the field & 'manipulation' of the board might result in Taylor going instead?

Too bad we never hear him taking about his club coaches like this.
I wouldn't have thought telling people he didn't think his coach could coach was conducive to any positive culture anywhere
You're no saint Robbie.. Your bs isn't most on many

Have to remember, Daley only has Farah for 6 weeks per year.

This is simply a speculator. Given the apparent gap between Farah's and Ayoub's last media, I began thinking they may not be on the best of terms at the moment. Ayoub's piece was bizarre, all over the place. Farah apparently cool and composed. I wonder if Ayoub is copping some of Farah's tanty for the way he was handling the deal prior to letting him in on the story. (If that's what really happened)

ROBBIE Farah’s manager Sam Ayoub is preparing a shame file on the Wests Tigers’ dealings with their skipper, saying he wasn’t afraid to “embarrass plenty of people”.

Speaking on the Fox NRL Market Watch podcast on Wednesday, Ayoub took a veiled swipe at Tigers coach Jason Taylor and reiterated the promise that Farah will dig his heels in and see out his contract.

Despite recent speculation linking Farah with a move to a clutch of clubs including the Knights, the Dragons and the Rabbitohs, Ayoub rejected that likelihood, emphasising that it wasn’t about the money, but “what’s right and what’s wrong”.

But the biggest bombshell was Ayoub’s threat to go public with documents shedding light on the manner in which the club has attempted to finish Farah’s Tigers career.

“I’ve got everything pretty much documented,” Ayoub said.

“What was said and when and who said what and there’ll be a sequence of events that is going to come out later that will embarrass plenty of people.”

Ayoub reiterated that legal action is a possibility although he revealed “I don’t think it will go that far personally” and described as “insane” the Tigers’ expectation that a player on a marquee contract like Farah could be moved on so late in the season.

“ … It’s also a little bit insane to think you could find a position in late July for a player of Robbie’s calibre who is on the amount of money Robbie is,” Ayoub said.

“I don’t know where in their right mind they thought that was going to be something that was going to be easily achieved.”

It wasn’t just the Tigers’ management in Ayoub’s sights, with the manager also teeing off at the way the Farah fall out has been reported in some quarters.

“The thing about this is those at the club, and given the fact that no one’s been consulted, are fully aware that Robbie’s been great, the players love him contrary to some of the s*** that’s put out there, sorry guys for the swearing but it irks me,” Ayoub said.

“He’s been great. I was with a few of the boys (on Tuesday) night at the RLPA Awards with Robbie and I can tell you this; they don’t want him going anywhere.

“And to suggest that the player group are off him is a load of crap.”

Despite adamantly declaring Farah would be at the Tigers next season, Ayoub revealed he had taken calls from several clubs and representatives and would be in a position to offload the star hooker for a bargain basement price, with the Tigers forced to pick up a huge bulk of his $1 million-a-season contract.

“I’ve fielded calls from people and clubs and representatives, third parties and all that sort of stuff in between but at this stage I’m not prepared to comment on any of them,” Ayoub said.

“ ... We could in theory sign him for $50,000 easily. It’s not about the money here. It’s about what’s right and what’s wrong.

“At this stage, you know, Robbie’s not going anywhere.”

If the stalemate continues the scenarios boil down to Farah becoming the most expensive reserve grader of all-time next season, Farah and Taylor coming to an uneasy truce and continuing to work together, or an untenable situation forcing Taylor out.

For Farah’s part, Ayoub said he would be prepared to work with the coach.

“They’re both professionals. Well at least one of them is that I know of,” Ayoub said, in a barely disguised swipe at Taylor.

“I daresay that professionals get on with it. I daresay you’ve been through it Noddy (Brett Kimmorley), where you don’t get on so well with a coach but you get on with it and that’s what professionals do.

“I don’t think it will be an issue although there’s a lot of water to go under the bridge before that story’s over.”

Translation: No club wants Farah and Wests are Farah's only chance of playing first grade next season.

What concerns me that was obvious discord between Potter and Farah in 2014\. Potter was shown the door by the club and Taylor became coach this year. Early this season Farah made media statement about how he thought Taylor was a good and how Taylor gets on very well with Farah and the rest of the players etc. In July this year it is obvious that there has been more discord but this time its between Taylor and Farah. What is the best result for the club? If Taylor eats humble pie and there is reconciliation between these two how do we know that the same discord does not occur again in the not too distant future? Or worse still Taylor loses all respect amongst his players?

If Taylor eats humble pie it will be because he has been told to. Read - end of Taylor.
After this elegant display by everybody's favourite number 9 we can't afford more theatrics near the playing group.

I listened to the actual Sam Ayoub interview, and I can say its been sensationalised and blown up by the media (surprise surprise) .

He basically just said that he has all conversations documented and when that eventually comes out it will embarrass some people. No mention of the phrase 'shame file' or anything like that.

He basically said there has been no developments since this issue first reared its head, and said at this stage Robbie will be honouring the 2 years left of his contract.
