Player manager Sam Ayoub, right, leaves Campsie police station in Sydney's west with his lawyer after being charged.

Was he convicted of anything. ??

Just interested.

No one know??????

Could it be that he was was found not guilty or had the charges dropped??

Sick of waiting, and checked myself.
Surprise, Surprise….. He was cleared of all charges and the case was dismissed.
Strange that that small fact wasn't included in the post
I wouldn't know Ayoud if I fell over him, but I'm disgusted that anyone on this forum would use a post like that against someone else, no matter how much they disliked him.
Ayoud may be the worst person in the game or maybe not, but that post was clearly a low act. I know that emotions have been high for a while now but there is no excuse for that.

We didn't do too badly in the last game when Robbie was off the field. Sacked Sheens, Potter. And now Taylor? Perhaps Farah is the problem? And it is not the anti Farah sentiment it is more the pro WT sentiment. The Farah/Ayoub anti- Taylor PR has been working overtime!!!! ONE PLAYER IS NOT THE CLUB! We need to ALL get behind the coach, board and young players.

Sick of seeing this ONE PLAYER IS NOT THE CLUB bullshit.

One player here one player there. It adds up to a spine. With out a spine your stuffed. We loose the one player on Marty and one player on Farah and one player on in whoever is next and its going to get worse. Guess what's next.

You think this is the finish of it???? Keep dreaming. It'll get worse. This time it isn't farah. This is a coach problem why we are in a mess. And it will get worse whilst he is here. The players don't rate him. And it's not happy times.

No excuse for discrediting the player manager who is currently holding our club (and many others) to ransom?

FTR, you should familiarize yourself with Ayoub as soon as possible as he is the kind of bloke who would sell your first born to a Sudanese Drug Lord.

And last year we had a coach problem too remember? And a few years before that, remember?

There's something called called pattern recognition.

"And it will get worse whilst **he** is here"

That's why the club is suggesting he should move on.

Like CGT, I cannot believe the club is now facing the possibility of at best an uncertain outcome in the court and all the humiliation and poor publicity that comes with it. Has anyone considered the possibility of team mates providing statements and evidence in support of Farah?

Maybe the Club should suggest to themselves to pay Farah out and problem solved.
They didn't think this one through to well, just trying to bullying someone out of the Club….The problem is they chose the wrong personality to do it to.

Ryan Tandy may have been a good person to ask had he survived the trauma of being thrown under the bus.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the "reasons aired at the meeting by Taylor were based on hearsay and lacked corroboration" was because the sources of that hearsay were other WT players that didn't want to be named at the time? I suppose we'll find out if it goes to court.

How is it going to court?
The club have consistently said that they will honour Farah's contract.

He can't sue the club because he's the best paid reserve grader in history lol.

With his alliance with the media, especially Rothfield, things can only get worse for our once great club.

Have I missed something? The Tigers have said they will pay Farah his contract, so whats to go to court over? Obviously we are trying to not pay him if at all possible, but at the end of the day if a deal can't be made he will be paid.

I don't agree with just giving him his money and releasing him. Why pay him to play against us. If we have to pay his full contract then make sure he can't play against us. Play him in Ron Massey cup. If an employer sees a guy as bad for a working group he is entitled to employ him in another section in the same role isn't he? Especially in an industry that is purely performance based judged by a coach

Because apparently Robbie has it written into his contract that he MUST play first grade. But if that isn't a good enough excuse, apparently some he said, she said comment that was made at a private meeting saying Farah will play NSW next yr wil be. Apparently courts rule on hearsay now.

ok so that's what I've missed, thanks.

Is that definite? Who gets that written into a contract? Crazy.

I have seen a clause that identifies if the player isnt considered for NRL for a period of 6 weeks they can request a release. This was a few years back, so it is possible some player managers have escalated it to new levels?

Clubs would be crazy to agree to such a clause, but I wouldnt be surprised if they did.

If a player does not take directions from the coaching staff he should not be in the team - any team!

Directions from Taylor to one of the most damaging running hookers in the game:
Don't Run. Pass to two inexperienced halves who are struggling.

The anti Farah sentiment is clouding your minds. The coach is the problem wait and see.
For the record I want them both gone but you are lacking intelligence if you feel getting rid of Farah is more important than sacking Taylor.

Those swans looking better all the time eh Tyga?

Not a fan of the AFL NT. Its all for the kids mate but we have been dishing up boring, losing football.
Funnily enough their favourite players are Taupau & Farah. I'm working on getting them following Teddy but if we lose Taupau and Farah I am fighting an uphill battle. The only thing I have going is they can't drive to games.

Oh mate thats as weak as it gets.
Don't point towards your kids because YOU are a fair Weather fan… Your words
Just go

Maybe you could teach your kids the value of loyalty… Explain to them that in RL it only exists with the supporters nowadays... Players coaches don't know it
Teach them how you stick with your CLUB.. Thru good times and bad.. With decisions you agree and don't agree with
Teach them that players and coaches will come and go... The club.... As crap as it is s... Will remain
Its the easy way out to run away when things get hard... Sticking around thru the hard times makes the good times sweeter

Fight

... Or flight

This is about the greatest post I've ever read in this forum.
