Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

Bbf….My opinion of Farah has nothing to do with the fact he is Lebanese. It has everything to do with my belief that we will be a better club without him.

Gct....you think Farah had nothing to do with sheens and potter getting sacked? There were very few senior players who spanned both coaching tenures and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Keithy.

The worst thing about the Farah/Taylor rift is the forummers who think the best way to support their man is to bag the other. It's tiresome. Neither Taylor nor Farah are half as bad as claimed in this thread.

Farah certainly has a record and achievements to boast about. Taylor…on the other hand....?

Neither of them may be necessarily "bad", but it should not be about having one at the expense of the other.

Taylor has a contracted position to manage and develop Farah and the rest of the squad. Not the other way around.

If he doesn't have the tactical, strategic or man-management skills to do that, then he is "bad" for the position he is being paid for.

Good post LCA. 2016 will show if JT has any, or all of those skills. Unfortunately, just going from this year's disastrous results and the Robbie fiasco, it doesn't look promising.
But let's hope that everyone will "tow the line" and we have a positive season on and off the field. :supporter:

To play devil's advocate, he inherited Farah. If he signed him and then wanted to turf him it's a legitimate point to make. Coaches often move players on that are not wanted that preceded their arrival.

People saying mick potter was sacked is false! He had a 2 year contract that was not renewed at the end of 2014…

And considering that Potter stood up for Robbie mentioned back on page 77 of this thread I imagine that Potter is not too upset with Farah nor blaming him for his departure. So to eliminate red herrings Potter should not be used any more as an argument against Farah.

More yadda yadda yadda.

I will log back on when this subject reaches 500 pages.

I would give it a week.

This thread should now be closed. Farah is a 100% certainty to play for Wests Tigers in 2016\. His probation time finishes just before Christmas so all he has to do is attend all the training sessions between now and then and at each training session work up a sweat, follow the coach's instructions and very politely address Jason Taylor.

The probation is a wank. He will still get paid out if he "plays up," it is what he is entitled to. Threatening him with that is a total joke.

Why should it be closed….If he stays or goes we will still discuss Robbie Farah....Or shall we just start 20 different threads to discuss the same thing....Robbie Farah...?

Geo is right , keep it in one thread

I think we should have a Geo discussion thread

That way I don't have to go looking for the Predict 6 ,Last Man Standing ,Footy Tipping ,Fantasy League comps to see how bad he is doing and give him a bullocking

I just do it all in the one thread :righton:

Makes life easier

Well we know in SOO last year that they deliberately ran at Robbie knowing that if he got injured that NSW had no back up, so presumably he had to make those tackles. Why does he make so many in grade games? Is it others somehow letting them through? Are they deliberately running at Robbie? Is Robbie robbing the spotlight?

Now that we don't have Fultz, he's the only one who wants to get dirty and do the work in most games

So who replaced Fultz and has he replicated Fultz's tackle count? And if not then why not?

In today's SMH: Tigerland tensions. So we are hearing growing murmurs out of Tigerland that coach Jason Taylor is likely to lose the Mexican standoff with captain Robbie Farah and the Wests Tigers' Management. Taylor just wants Farah gone, Farah wants to stay. Some officials at the Tigers have sided with Taylor, some with Farah. Meanwhile other coaches are being discretely sounded out. Ivan Cleary, come on down. We are expecting a resolution in a matter of weeks.

New kid on the block has broken news for the first time!!

A guy with a facebook site "Ali's NRL Rumours" just announced that Ballin signed with us for 2016.

I think this guy gets him info from one of the Fox Sports presenters, not too sure though.

I know we are not allowed to disguise swearing on here anymore, but if this is true, FMD!

The Mole is suggesting we've signed Ballin as well. Would suggest that Farah is gone, but knowing our luck we'll end up with three hookers on the books for big $$.

Still doesn't excuse releasing Taupau a year early.
