Taylor said in his interview, Ballin would add competition for the hooker spot, what if we bring in Cleary or Toovey, that would add competition for the head coach spot, see how JT would like that.

Ballin is up against it IMO. Taylor may very well want him to be starting hooker, but he won't be right for round 1 coming back from an ACL and he'll be a brave man to start Cherrington over Farah. I think this move is really going to fire Farah up, and that's a good thing, Farah is sharper around the ruck than Ballin and Cherrington is incredibly sharp, but will he improve enough defensively to make the position his own? Pre-season is going to be pretty interesting…

Not sure. He did his ACL in round 24 and it's generally a 9 month recovery. Given how rusty and tentative some players are in coming back from such an injury, plus he'll be limited in the contact work he can do, he'll be struggling IMO.

This is very odd to me…..a good start does not necessarily mean a good finish to a season...conversely a bad one does not necessarily mean there can't be a good finish...

Maybe the warring parties have come to an agreement?

1) Farah plays to mid season and moves on, gets his Leichhardt oval farewell and saves some face
2) Ballin makes full rovery and assumes Farahs role

Anything else would be illogical and beyond insanity.. Making rash decisions based on emotions and out of spite is reckless. either way I'd prefer Farah over Ballin, though I think JT is putting all his eggs in the basket for 2017.. That is closer to hope as against fact
