Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

Could that be why JT said a few days ago that Robbie figured into the clubs plans? If they're giving the impression they see him in their plans next yr then wouldn't Farah voluntary asking for a release absolve the club from any financial responsibility? Very crafty by JT and the club if true.

They played dumb and dumber perfectly. Enough rope as they say.

They've already told him that he's still free to find another club, So in that regard, there is no change, even the job offer after he retires doesn't change anything unless he says yes.
It's the same as Sheens rejecting WTs offer of a different job.
Nothing negates the contract conditions, unless both parties agree.

Wow…lot of assumptions going on here based on what Benny Elias , Ayoub and now best of all Di Girolamo (in clandestine meetings) have said about what players have said with not one quote from any of them anywhere...

If it was me I would be peeved and hesitant to commit until the Saga is bought to it's conclusion as well...

Since we love to speculate...I will tip that once the matter is finalised and a clearer path is know we will see Moses and Brooks re-sign and extend their contracts...

I have a friend who says if Robbie goes he will never support the Tigers again…and therein lies the problem...if your not happy and things dont suit....then go....

There's heaps of them. Some people really putting the player above the club. If one good thing is coming out of this fiasco its that its separating the real fans from the impostors.

Come on Geo….wasn't it assumption when Farah was told he would play Reserve Grade ? even when Farah said on an interview that's what he got told....but people still dismissed it .

Then When Pascoe went on record to say that it was was said and " these things gets said in the heat of the moment ".

Also some on here made assumptions that Farah was the problem child in the Squad and that the players around him wanted him gone.....then these suppose guys are holidaying with him in Bali .

Then the other night cause his spotted with Moses and Brooks maybe disclosing to them what his intentions were.....he now gets accused of Managing these players affairs :unamused: .

People are clutching at whatever story suits there argument that is pretty much it .

I will be personally be happy for Robbie when his able to move on from this mess and happy for JT that he can now do his Job at hand and will have nowhere to hide next year cause he can't use Robbie as an excuse and that's what would of happened if Robbie was still here .
The pieces to the Jigsaw puzzle will fall in place and the truth will eventually come out .

Pascoe must have lined up Ivan Cleary.
If this article is true he has to know backflipping on Farah means parting ways with Taylor.
The situation is untenable and it looks like the reason Brooks and Moses have extended their option date.

You're clearly lapping up the spin. Things are not what they seem.

He's asked for a release, it's over. Doesn't matter how we got here, Farah asking for a release says that he's finally realized that the club is prepared to move on, and he's finally going to do the honourable thing and move on. 2 months too late, but better late than never. Now Farah doesn't want to be here. Clubs never knock back the release request of a player, because why have a player who doesn't want to be there? Especially a player who they've already been trying to move on for months before hand. Its obvious its a ploy from the club. Don't buy into it.

If it's over, how come there's a new offer on the table from the club?( if that's true)
Seems like there's more to come.
Maybe there's a reason for the clubs that is tied in with other players possibly wanting to leave.
I think there are going to be more repercussions than first thought by the club

Again all assumptions…as were mine..and the original quote was 'could' find himself in reserve grade if he stayed...that was from his own mouth the link to the original presser is on page 23 I think  ...I would hope that applies to any player based on performance....

That it is now used in the media as so slanderous makes it even more comical...

If we need to let history go, I say let JT go.

He took us from a very nice attacking team to a boring bunch of plodders overnight.

Farah is the incumbent NSW hoooker.

One has form….the other.......

6th best attack on the comp.

Equal last in the premiership!!!

Someone pointed out earlier that Cleary finished second last his first yr at the Panthers. As a result he moved on Lewis, Jennings and Gordon, and 2 yrs later they were Pre lim finalists.

I've always been a fan of players being dropped if form doesn't warrant it and this year Brooks and Moses should of been dropped to Reserve Grade heaps of time if we are going on form .

That "could" quote is a form of bullying and harassment , it was used to try as hard as they could to push him out…..make no mistake about that , C'mon deep down you know it's true  .

Lawrence should of been in Reserve Grade in 2012, 2013 , 2014 if that's the case . This year he has warranted his selection in 1st Grade and commend him for it .

When he's in the middle of a job? If you hire someone to renovate your bathroom and they start by tearing it down, do you tell them to get out of your house?

Farah was hired for 4 years last contract, he is in the middle of that contract, same thing, so why is ok for some but not others.

I can ask the same question in reverse. Why is it okay to move on an under performing coach, but not an under performing captain? A captain who is seemingly trying to drag as many people into this as he can (Moses, Brooks). If so, its a dog act that he's desperate enough to try and detestable the club even further. Its a cancerous act by a coward who can't fight his own battle on his own.

Any chance that you could answer 851's question
I can't wait for that one??

You worked yourself into that corner GNR , love to see your answer to that :roll

I already did.

No you didn't.
You answered with a question
But it's ok if you don't have an answer, I admit that's a hard one after what you've been saying. Lol

Absolutely low of Farah if he's dragging Moses and Brooks into it.

What if , perish the thought Moses and Brooks don't like JT either and actually like and respect Robbie. 😱pen_mouth:

That's fine, let them deal with their own situations individually. Trying to get players to gang up on him isn't doing to the club any favours.

How do you know that's what's happening ??

Flattering that you hold my opinion in such high regard that you're hanging out for it

Were JT, Go and co the ones who signed him to that 4 yr contract? I don't think so. It's not like they signed him and changed their mind. They got here, saw the mistake made by the old board and are rectifying that mistake. Something they have the right to do since they are the ones running the club.

Probably the same way you seem to know what's happening.

Can you see the word IF in his first post?
