Is it an Official Club release …...or just in the paper so it must be true...

Don't buy the rag is there a link on-line somewhere...the Mystery is killing me....

If it is speculation about Bird going to the Saints - it is for 2017;
It will affect the renewal of off contract Benji Marshall.
Probably a straight swap.
Should not effect the Saints dealing with hooker Farah.
(Mind you still all speculation here, outside the loop and all….)

Fact….only Sheens was sacked.

And that changes the amount of coaches in that short period how?

3 coaches in 4 years or 3 coaches in 13 years. Both are true statements. Do you want to take the short term 4 year period as representative of the clubs coaching situation or the longer term 13 year view? I think it is more accurate to take a longer term view because you are including Sheens so his whole tenure should be included, not just simply his last year at the club. Data generally paints a more accurate picture over the long term.

I think the real problem is the lingering effects of the poor cap/contract decisions made by Humphreys that has restricted the options available to the coaches in recent years. Sheens won a comp and had a great record over decades but I think it became apparent it was time for him to move on after 9 seasons. Potter won coach of the year twice in Super League and was doing well after Sheens until the Farah incident, after which team performance dropped. It became untenable and the club decided to keep Farah (captain and probably most consistent player) and not renew Potters contract. I think the club is aware what happened with Potter is not desirable and has backed the coach to implement what he thinks will work for the club long term. Unfortunately I don't think Farah has learnt from past experiences.

There hasn't been 3 coaches in the last 4 yrs, is that what you're saying GCT?

I'm saying that there has been 2 Coaches gone In approx 12 yrs from when Sheens came( can't remember the year) until now, one sacked after a long coaching stint.
And one coach not resigned , after a terrible year.
If Taylor is sacked soon it will be ( if you class him as a coach) two coaches sacked
And I not re signed , in the time from when Sheens started here until now
If you want to juggle the figures to make your post sound worse than it actually is , then go ahead .
BTY, how many coaches has the Broncos had in the last 4or 5 yrs

Henjak, Hook and Bennett

Manly , Hasler , Toovey and Barrett

Hey GCT,apparently JT has said he and Farah have worked through most of their issues…
As far as I'm concerned Taylor is the coach..Farah is the player and I don't care how long he has been here...coach is the boss, irrespective of your opinion of him which we are all familiar with...if Robbie can't be told he is playing reserve grade if his form justifies it,then that's what has to happen...I couldn't careless what a club legend he has been..he has been paid big money for to long..."familiarity breeds contempt"..not a bad old saying...

I have no problem in Farah playing reserves, "if his form dictates it"just not being threatened with it purely to try and force him to go.
For our team to be picked on form will be a major change in Taylors direction and a welcome change. It will be making a few players a bit shaken if it is actually implemented
Can't see anything much that we disagree 0n, even the fact that he's been paid too much, but whose fault is that ?. The Clubs… Bingo

I wouldn't be throwing stones at others for embellishing to suit their argument after the way you were waxing on yesterday about how our sponsors would never have signed on if they knew the storm this would create, yet they were announced well after the mass hysteria started.

99 more days till we play the Warriors at Campbelltown. God, please give me the strength to get through all this.

I'm waiting until
You have had time to re-read my post GNR .
Could you let me know then where it was that I said that our sponsors would never have signed if they knew that this was coming.
I said " I wonder what our sponsors are thinking "
And. I wonder did they have an escape clause in their contract,

But
I don't mind you playing wiith facts, but if you are coming to criticise anyone's post, at least understand what was said before ranting about nothing
