Robbie...is he a captain

news.com.au.nrl,has reported that the NSW Blues are imploding, critising each other and the coach…

Tom Raudonikis claims Robbie Farah is a poor leader and should never captain again...

Have a read forumers and give us your thoughts on the article.....

I think the injury really affected Farah, which was unfortunate because it really took the edge off the great game he was having. While I'm not ever a fan of his captaining style, I'm not sure if his captaincy was the reason NSW lost.

But I do agree with what Gould says about the team lacking direction from the halves. In the last 15mins that game was just asking for someone to step up and take it by the scruff of the neck to a NSW victory, however no one did…

blaming farah what a joke makes over 50 tackles gets injured and stays out there doing his best and some people still not satisfied . ROBBIES NOT TO BLAME

They have to be kidding, Farah was one of the best on the field, I will bag him when required but not Wednesday Night. Had a great game .

Spearby,it makes you wonder where they get off trying to get sell their crap journalism…the other thing that stuck out was Toms statement, sounded like he doesnt like Robbie at all, although its just his opinion I suppose...I thought Farah played well and filled the captains role very well, shame he got injured in the way he did, grubby tackle....

Raudonikis, just like Steve Roach, is an irrelevant dinosaur who has no business commenting on the modern game. He has no idea.

Bloody oath he is /thread

If we had another player at hooker believe me, it would have been a different game, QLD would have dominated up the middle.

Take out Woods and Robbie, NSW have nothing in the forwards.

This is what has happened in the modern game - the halves are not calling the shots like they used to. Most teams play a 4 or 5 hit up game and a tactical kick. The halves usually only come in to the play on the 4th and 5th tackle and in broken play. And with the number of interchanges teams can keep this up for the full 80 mins. The halves are losing the ability to read a game a couple of plays ahead and plan along those lines. I have no idea what the answer is but the current style of play of most teams is ruining the game.

The article is mostly a farce, I love Tommy, but he is a babbling fool.

The only truths worth talking about in the whole piece was how Pierce and Farah once each refused to go to Hodkinson when he was set. Pierces decision magnified because it was responsible for marching QLD down field with 7 tackles to take their own shot.

It was diabolical that a spine at that level got it so wrong twice. Unacceptable. Its a level of professionalism that seperated the two teams in the end.

very good question - i can't answer that - but he blew it passing it to dugan and not hodkinson - what was he thinking??? he seemed to be flustered in the moment- lost the game for the blues -

The question is whether Robbie is a captain, not about Tommy's credibility, not about his performance on Wednesday night (which was very good).

As I said earlier, great player, but only a fair captain. Wests have been lacking strong leadership on the field for some time. They are relatively weak mentally compared to the top teams.

I would give Robbie a pass mark as captain, and an exceptional mark as a player. In saying that, I dont think there is anyone in the roster capable of taking over this year. In the future, maybe Moses, he has the passion and the vision, but needs to step up to earn his place in the team.

Being a captain is not just being able to make 50 tackles ,and the 50 tackles does not mean you have had a great game! I will get it right out there from the get go I would of released Farah after what happened last season no if s no buts. Obviously most here have not heard what transpired in the camp where Farah showed exactly why he should not be a captain .When you are the captain in such a prestige's event you rise above personal issues ..Farah apparently did not want certain jurnos in a presser . Well like someone last year he was told in no uncertain terms to grow up and act like an adult . Farah is only a shadow of a player he once was for reasons only known to himself.

Get out of here blaming Robbie , blame the idiots that selected our halves Combo . 2 natural halfbacks playing 2 positions who is leading the Group around is anyone's guess :unamused:

i dont blame robbie - it was a brain explosion -

fulton is the d***head

i was so happy queensland won - because i hate fulton with a passion

go queenslander!!!!!

I think he really stuffed this up but he is a very good player and a very good captain.
