Robbie...is he a captain

I think Michael Ennis just officially played his way OUT of being a possible replacement for Farah in Origin 2

He should have, but Daley has no idea, so who knows.

What a relief Flip although I think Farah will play regardless of Ennis carrying on as usual.

At his best, Robbie is anything and everything … captain, leader, organiser, decision maker, inspiration to those around him. The fact is, IMO, he just isn't at his best and I am not sure how he's going to recapture his best. The clock's turned and it's NOW and it's not Robbie's time anymore.

He was one of the best players on the field on Wednesday night, got an 8.5/10 rating - he is far from being finished.

When you have very good player's around you which was the case on Wednesday Night Robbie is more effective , at Club level it's easier to judge him playing crap cause we rely on him so much IMO.

Ennis was never a chance to replace Farah, he's about the 3rd or 4th in line these days. Nathan Peats would be the next in line i suspect.

The series is almost lost anyway…..hard for NSW to win in Melb & in Qld....so maybe they need to look to the future.....Nathan Peats.....hits hard, has attitude and I think he would be suited for SOO....obviously on the basis Farah is injured and cannot play Game 2.

In regards to where the Game was lost......I agree with Gould it really comes down to someone "stepping up " and making it happen.....our two halves in the last 10 minutes were pretty much non-existent ( not being critical as both had reasonable games IMO ) ......Cooper Cronk on the other hand "stepped up" and won the game for Qld. And thats the difference between a really good player & a world class player. Qld have them in spades.....we don't.

I also think we lacked something on our bench....having 4 forwards gave us nothing extra ( both Fifita & Merrin were a little under used ) when we really needed an X Factor in the last 10-15 minutes....a reynolds or austin would have been perfect here.

We defended really well.....you really could not blame anyone in particular for the loss as they all put in, but to beat Qld you need to be able to steal a win when the opportunity presents.....and in this regard we have generally been very poor for the last 35 years.

Just my 2 cents worth.
